It was a good game. I thought both teams played some pretty good defense. The late foul shooting for Meigs sealed their fate. The FU strategy to put them on the line worked to perfection.

This game wasn't as close as the score indicates. Owen Tracy played his heart out. He deserves a ton of credit.

Wittekind from Marietta had his way with Meigs. 33 points and sat out parts of every quarter. A really solid player.

Carson became a member of the 1000 point club tonight. He had a great game against Wellston. Marauders win big and play reserves most of the 4th quarter with a running clock. Carson lit it up for 30 plus tonight as the shots were falling. Solid performance by the Marauders on the road.

Coach Davis is doing his best to get his son on the post, kid played a good game last night against Eastern Meigs. Good post presence will take time to adjust as he likes the perimeter play. I dont know his history. Maybe he was a guard somewhere and had a big growth spurt. He is not a post player....

I saw Meigs a few times last year and the big kid refuses to get down on the low post. Wants to shoot 3s all game and not rebound. And his dad doesnt make him or use him that way. Meigs is really soft. They don't defend the paint or even try to rebound on either end. Big man shoots perimeter fallaways. MT scored at will around him in the second half. He had 1 foul.
