Burg is battle tested. Their dismantling of Jackson says it all. ZT is a fine football team that has had a heck of a season. Unfortunately for the Pioneers the cream always rises to the top.

Last night was the biggest win in program history for Jackson. Every step they take towards winning a regional title is monumental in the program development.

Everything is relative, tomcat fan. Their style of play and the way they exploit weaknesses in defenses resembles what Athens did last year.

Going into round 2, what are your predictions? Here are mine:

D1 - St. Edwards
D2 - La Salle
D3 - St. Vincent St. Mary
D4 - Steubenville
D5 - Coldwater
D6 - Marion Local
D7 - Danville

Danville names the score.

I'd be shocked if anyone in the region even starts to slow Danville down. Their offense resembles that of Athens 2014.

I will likely witness both of these contests.

Not a bad showing for the area.

The 2014 Athens team is the best to ever come out of SE Ohio imo. Some of the other teams mentioned may have been more physical but they wouldn't have handled the Athens athletes in space.

Would love to see Trimble win but Danville takes this region.

Outside of Zane Trace and Paint Valley the SVC was terrible.

SG held a lead on Danville in the 2nd quarter of their previous match-up in 2006. Anything is possible.
