I hear Athens is going to be down this year with 5 of last years starters not playing because of coaching I definitely don't think it would be because of Coaching, Athens has two of the best Coaches in the TVC Ohio, both on and off the field....But being from Meigs and as much as I hate to say it.....

From my understanding during the regular season schedule Meigs and River Valley were gonna be playing on Saturday Feb. 14th...In which was when this tournament was scheduled for...Meigs had the regular season game changed to the 21st so they could be in the Freshmen tournament. We couldn't get past Athens, I will just say Attitudes of a few players and questionable coaching decision made towards those 2 boys cost us that game.

Athens JV team is almost all freshmen. Those kids have definitely got a lot better Meigs JV is also almost all Freshmen, No one has a problem with them in it, I personally don't care where they were seeded in this tournament...but most are mad they were seeded above 4 other teams and had not played...

Being a Great Player and being a Great Coach is two different things, just because one could play the game doesn't mean they can Coach.
