Logan Elm is a very young basketball team - they have four freshmen and three sophomores on varsity. They'll going to take a few lumps early, but as the young talent gets some experience, they should be a tough team down the stretch.

LE doesn't mind the roundball waiting for a bit. Football run is amazing - 0-10 to 12-0.

Chillicothe has some nice skill weapons, but the battle was won in the trenches by Logan Elm. Congrats to the Cavs on a good season. Being one of 16 left in D3 is nothing to be ashamed of.

Warpath now through Chillicothe and onto the regional championship game against Eastmoor. What a season for the Braves! They were the better team tonight. Defense stepped up and made big plays all night long.

Knights is a fantastic athlete for Chilli. The young man played a great game.

Any league is going to have its bottom teams but what separates the MVL, at least of the past couple of years, from the SEOAL, MSL and SOC are the number of quality football teams at the top. Leagues go in cycles but at the moment I'd consider the MVL the best league around here.

Congrats to the Chiefs on a fantastic season. For doubters of Logan, going toe to toe with Louisville should help erase some of it. Logan, in my opinion, is the best team in all of SE Ohio.

So let me get this straight: Chillicothe having to play Logan Elm at an MSL school is bias but Logan Elm having to play at an SEOAL stadium like some have suggested is not? Interesting. I'd also remind you that LE is the higher seed so if the venue is going to be a bit closer to one school it should...

Logan Elm finds another way to win and continues the march. The team might not be flashy but they are solid and have a very good coaching staff.

Jackson will probably host this one.

The schedule didn't have anything to do with this. It came down to Ironton backs repeatedly getting yards after contact - from the first quarter to the fourth - and Westfall having two costly turnovers in the second half and three in total. When you are in a shootout, you can't lose 3-1 in turnovers...

We'll see what the real results say Friday night and not a computer.
