I still find it laughable that burg folks complain about Ironton transfers while they've been getting kids from Green, Minford, South Webster, Portsmouth, Ironton, Ashland, and other schools for years. You people are hypocrites.

Much like how burg gets kids from all over Scioto County (and sometimes other places)...

Burg fans are insufferable. This should have been nothing but a positive thread giving the kid props.

Well, if you're gonna go back ten years, you may as well go back through the entire series - which would favor Ironton in a HUGE way. You had a respite during the Vass years. Otherwise, wheelersburg often has not been competitive.

What does the IHS-WHS series stand at now exactly ? It must be getting embarrassing at this point. Imagine if the burg would have played us in all the 70s and the 80s...and if the Vass years didn't happen ? Yet, they are still arrogant...

Not trying to stir the pot...but was it really a successful season for the burg ? They got blown out by their main rival TWICE. They beat only bad or mediocre teams. They gave up in their last game. Is that successful ? *The bar has been lowered

wheelersburg has absolutely no fight in them whatsoever. They seem to have quit completely. In a similar situation, I think Ironton would still at least have some effort & spirit. I HATE wheelersburg. But, I'd like to see them put up a fight. Even burg fans said they didn't show up against Prep ...

I said burg would win. I watched the game. I'm sure burg's defense had a lot to do with it - but Barnesville looked awful on offense. They were very unpolished in everything they did - as if they don't practice offense at all. Every pass looked shaky from the snap - the QB dropping, never really set...

Self-proclaimed burg-hater here... But, they'll beat Barnesville. Barnesville might be the 5th best team burg has played this year.

It's not difficult to understand. Kids outside burg's district are not - by definition - burg kids. And you've had a bunch of those over the years.
