Re: Week 4 Jackson (3-0) vs. Granville (3-0)
Quite a few Jackson folks at CH Jones field last night rooting on the Wellston Golden Rockets, so I will return the favor to our county rival and wish the Ironmen success against the #8 AP rated Granville program in the state, going to be a very tough Saturday night match-up for them but good luck.

Re: WEEK 4: Wellston (2-1) vs. Portsmouth West (1-2)
Even b-4 Wellston cut and ran from the SEOAL, you had to battle more than the 11 players on the field in order to win! Reality check here. Wellston's 10 games this year if you take each opponent's Divisional placement averages D4. We are a D5 school, so we average playing "up" one Divisio...

Re: Week 4: Cambridge (2-1) at Logan (3-0)
The D2 (467 boys) Logan Chieftains are now in the meat grinder portion of their non-league schedule having just squeaked by D4 Meigs (196 boys). But this week thay will face D4 Cambridge, followed by D5 NY (146 boys), before finally capping off their last non-league contest before SEOAL play by taki...

WEEK 4: Wellston (2-1) vs. Portsmouth West (1-2)
Last of the non-league games before we begin the gauntlet of what is the TVC Ohio.
I like our chances in this match-up, and think we move to 3-1 by controlling the LOS on each side of the ball.

But do feed big fish Logan with small fish...all the while making fun of the little fish by Chief Paladin, ruler of the Chieftain Envy Tribe.LoganLocos wrote:Don't feed the trolls.
Good luck to TVC Meigs as they step up and play Logan this week...should be a good game.

Re: Week 3 Meigs vs. Logan
No one is suggesting not playing Logan or boycotting them lol, I always fail to understand when presented with facts people get emotional and present emotional arguments. It is simply numbers of boys available to play that determines Divisions. OHSAA understands that generally speaking the number of...

Re: Week 3 Meigs vs. Logan
I get annoyed by the numbers argument so much!! Not every boy at Logan plays football!! They have just as many kids on the team as both Jackson and DeSales. And DeSales can recruit. Sorry but they can. Just bc you have 1000 boys doesnt mean you have 900 on the team. I hate that analogy. Wow, you do...

Re: Week 3 Meigs vs. Logan
As much as it pains me to say Logan may very well go 10-0 this year...DeSales and Jackson neither one have shown they are that good yet, plus they are several hundred boys larger than either one so they should compete well. Should destroy NY which they should 350 boys or so larger than them. 400 mor...

Re: Week 3: Portsmouth West @ Coal Grove
0-2 west team is more relevant than a 1-1 Wellston team who beat Huntington. At least to everyone besides the good folks in Wellston. If Wellston makes the playoffs this year and proves me wrong I would not be mad about it. West has much more expectations with its coaching staff and history of good...

C'mon man. There are more health/cancer causing agents in the artificial butter on the popcorn; coloring in the diet Mt Dew; dogs/brats; and melted "cheese" served with the nachos at the concession stand. The ingestion from the food at the games by the fans is worse than whatever the play...

It's good that the bottle rockets have this game after the drubbing from Jackson. A nice easy win for them this week and a chance to rest some players that might be banged up from Jackson. Come on bottle rockets we need the playoff points. FEAR the 3 Not sure even how we will compete agai...

Didn't choke but it was a big ole platter and had to take my time getting through it. One of the ugliest games I have ever watched. Best thing about entire evening was watching the bands, kudos to the Jackson drum major for doing the backwards bend hat touching the turf thing ala OSU. Much better pe...
