I look for VC to mix in a lot of zone as well with Damron in the middle - trying to take away Lutz's penetration as much as possible ... going to be mirror images of each other - VC vs Athens ... it will come down to who outplays "themselves" in this one with the "BIG" differenc...

One thing I noticed about Jackson coaches was that many times all 3 of them was standing and coaching several times during the meigs game, I was surprised the refs never warned them.

Jackson is some go getters, they hustle and move the ball well on offense and play great defense...The score could have been worse in the first half if Jackson would have hit their shots. Meigs makes no changes, they run same offense all game, pick at top, pass to the wing. They pressed the whole se...

Meigs has changed a couple of their starters, this should be interesting.

I think it's going to take Meigs a few games to get some identity, There is several kids learning new positions and adjusting. I think tomorrow will be a closer game then most will think.

Hopefully they don't have the same officiating crew as Friday.

I'm sure everyone will pick Warren in this match up after Meigs dropped one to Gallia Academy.

I think it will be a closer game. Gallia Academy is a lot better then what people think and I don't see Meigs having 16 fouls in the first half of this game.

I think Meigs will be okay, Foul trouble on Kennedy early hurt them. It will take a few games to get used to each other, we have a few kids playing new positions for the first time, plus Zach Bartrum still hurt from football. And I'd say going in they underestimated Gallia. Gallia is a good team. Li...

I will say this, Gallia Academy impressed me, They play very physical and #35 and 44 together is gonna be something this year.

Like I said I ha only heard he played soft, I didn't take it as a bad thing. I took it as him being young and scared to bang down low with the opponents, in which could be the intimidation factor going against older kids.

I think any team would like to have a young kid that size to work with.

Anxious to see this 6'10 kid, Someone said he plays soft.

I think someone needs to go ahead and start a Athens versus Vinton County topic, so it's discussed in there and not in EVERY topic...lol
