I got to hang around and assist with Athens softball a little bit this year. We began our season with New Lexington and ended it in the Sectional with Waverly. Those two teams, in my opinion, were the two best overall and well-rounded teams we faced this year. The 1-0 score just might validate that...

Looks like wheelersburg and Minford both undefeated, Jackson 2 losses, Clay 1 loss, and Miamitrace 4 losses. Is this info correct? Can anyone confirm this? If this is correct I have the combined total losses of all opponents that's beaten Waverly this season at 7.

With the talent I'm seeing at Waverly, along with the newly acquired knowledgeable, and experienced coaching staff, I can see the Tigers making a run in this year's tournament.

yes toast all 4 teams were evenly matched. After going up and watching both games, I have to say any one of the 4 could have easily came out on top. In both games the teams with the fewest errors won.
