Re: Week 9 (5-3) Ironton @ (7-1) Oak Hill
Oaks were an easy win with no chance of ironton injures. Tigers actually ended up with 2 weeks of rest before playoffs.great strategy by irontons athletic dept.

Great job by irontons athletic director to schedule the weakest team ironton will play all year before going into the playoffs.

Re: Division IV Region 15: Worst it has ever been?
All I can say is: after seeing piketon play....WOW!!......if they make the playoffs this region is extremely weak! Not trying to single anyone out but 3 thrue 8 are very weak for D4 playoffs!

Thanks for info on loyd, this region will definitely belong to the green wave or Danville if they don't get him back.

I don't give the freddies much of a chance in that game but if they win yes they'll make it if NY loses. If NY loses and Freddies lose then the hustlin hornets might squeak into top 8 with a victory.

Re: Nelsonville-York (7-2, 4-0) vs Athens (8-1, 4-0)
Nelsonville hasn't beat anyone with a winning record. Athens beat 1 team with a winning record. With that said, it looks like Nelsonville must win to make playoffs, if they lose it looks like coal grove will finish #8 in the region. I predict an Athens victory by 7 points and coal grove slips into t...

Re: division 6 region 23
Looks like an easy regional championship for Newark Catholic. Danville looks to be the only team in this region with any chance of challenging them.

Re: Week 10 Fed.Hock at Trimble
Don't know much about Trimble, but just looked them up and I see they've made the playoffs 8 times and won a total of 2 play-off games. Is this possibly the best team they've ever had? Have they ever had a 10-0 season?

Re: Division IV Region 15: Worst it has ever been?
Take Hartley out of this region, like the past two years, and it is the worst by far in Division IV. Ironton is down by Ironton standards. St. Clairsville looks to have a pretty good team. A couple of good teams after that, then a lot of mediocre play. I don't know how down Ironton is for a Div 4 t...

Re: Division IV Region 15: Worst it has ever been?
Well Piketon is sitting 5th and had Minford beat in week 3, so besides a poor showing against Westfall, they have been very impressive so far. The overall depth of the region is bad, but it should have a couple of good openers and then it will be tough to advance to the final four. It isn't like 16...

IRONTON VS COALGROVE
As a unbiased spectator I watched the game. Both teams played hard'and gave100%.but as a realist I must say I was not impressed with either team.1 thing I did see that I liked was irontons full court press. With the record ironton has , I was really surprised by the lack of talent and athleticism.us...
