For the first game out of the box this season, Coach Scarberry's Mohawks came away with a big opening night victory over New Boston. NB was playing without its main player in fairness. Lots of things to tweak for both teams this week in practice.

This is going to be a major rebuilding year for the Falcons. Coach Shoemaker will put in the work and the young Falcons will be a much better team at the end of the year than at the beginning. I am not sure how that will translate in to wins and losses.

It is too early in the year to be talking basketball. Give it a couple more weeks. To answer your question, SW will be much smaller on the front line but will be fundamentally sound. A 500 record or above is doable.

I would like to see the OVC and the SOC combine. The teams could be more equally divided in football, the smaller football playing schools would have more competitive games. In basketball you COULD go with an east/west schedule and play only a handful of cross over games. For example, Western would ...

The county schools in Scioto county put in requests for deputies at athletic events to the sheriff's office. This is extra work if the job is accepted or not by the deputies. If someone does not pick up the job, there is no deputy on duty.
