You're exactly right. If you've been a part of Jr High or any travel ball where you actually pay to play you know there's no reason half these games should have been postponed.

Clay seems to have the only field that can be played on consistently through this weather. Yep,they also have a great coach that puts in the work to take care of field. Heard Burg 7th and 8th are the real deals like usual, Portsmouth and Green both good with only losing to Burg.

Exactly, I heard one school decided not to play an away game because they thought it was too wet and chilly and didn't want players getting sick.

This is the problem. Everyone swears they have a pitcher who throws 6 and has 5 different pitches. When in reality they have one pitcher in the mid 50s who throws five different Fastballs but calls them something else.

SOC 1 i think Notre Dames Schaeffer is the hardest thrower. Id say she's high 50s low 60s.

That really surprises me to hear. Clay usually is a very rounded program, who all did they lose from last year? Pitching can carry you sometimes though.

How's some of the scrimmages turning out?

Saw a team outside scrimmaging today. My car said it was 36° and it was windy. I know composite bats usually cant even be used in this temperature.
What's your guys opinions? At what point so you pull the plug due to temperature? No rain involved in the decision.

Did she use to be at North West?

Green should be primed for another SOC run. They lost a good player in Carver but have plenty returning and coming up through the program.
