Midland has a very impressive football staff. Why would Salmons leave a place like Midland to come to Ironton who probably pays less money than Midland does with probably a 1/3 of the roster that he currently has at Midland. Something doesn't sound right to me. Also, what coaching credentials GAME ...

I agree with that but kids are not coming to Ironton anymore because of the staff. And talent might be better but when you do nothing all winter and you are poorly coached a lot of talent goes to waste.

There is one reason Wheelersburg is better than Ironton at this point is coaching period! We have not had a good staff and leadership for the kids the last 5 years. Kids doing what they want when they want.

Keep in mind the new board are the ones that voted not to renew any of the fall sports supplemental contrasts. This is something new that had not been done in the past. Do I think it could go faster yes but that is all the politics that is going on in the Ironton school system the board is dealing w...

I am not laying this on the board this new board is trying to make changes that are difficult to make.

I understand your concerns but the head coach caused this whole situation. I do agree that something should have been said to him long before this about the issues on the team.

He has never been a quality coach for sure what a mistake the board made the last time.
