Last night’s result could have a big impact in the D-III tournament. Meigs beating Wellston could effect Wellston’s seeding in tournament. I would think it also elevates Meigs seed. Also with Wheelersburg beating Waverly at home, does that give Wheelersburg the edge at the 2 seed with only 2 losses....

I think if the draw was today, West Union should get the #1 seed. West Union’s victory over a solid Ripley team last week is the determining factor for me. But there is still a lot of basketball to be played so time will tell how the coaches feel.

I think if Wheelersburg has 2 losses and Eastern Pike has 3 losses then Wheelersburg will gets the 2 seed. If they both have 3 losses than I believe it is a coin toss for the 2nd seed. When does Wheelersburg play Oak Hill for the second time yet?

Once again Unioto is the clear cut best team in the SVC. I thought coming into the season that the gap had closed some between Unioto and the rest of the league, but I was wrong. I have to give credit to Coach Hoops and his staff a lot of credit.

I guess the timing of my post couldn’t have been any better. (Western - 51 ZT - 47) I guess that answers my question about just being hot for one game. They have kids at every position that can shoot the “3”. Even their Center shot the “3” against Paint Valley.

It just turned out that Western had kids quit their program or they would have been the tougher matchup. Some times luck plays a part in a team’s success.
