Ironic part of the story is that Athens fired him a few years ago. Reminds me of Joe Garret at Belpre when he was non-renewed in the early 1980's then came back and took them to the state finals (which Coach Garrett just won a state title at Parkersburg Catholic). Don't know the record but I am pretty sure Kristy Rhoades holds it...She went on to play college ball. She graduated with Cathy Coyner I believe and was part of the undeafted teams tht on on to regionals.
