Great win for the Vikes. After blowing out Nelsonville last night, glad to see them regroup against a great opponent. Congrats Vikes, you have been playing good ball on both ends of the court!! Anyone have any stats, I was not able to make it to the game tonight.

Great game tonight for the Vikings. Played well on both sides of the ball. Combs took the starters out with 4:39 left in the 4th and VC up by 24. 3rd quarter was totally dominated by VC. Congrats to Matt Hatfield who scored the last bucket for the Vikes with a nice drive to the hole!!!!

A close one and your spread is 18 jottings4ever. Vinton County is a decent team. I do not think anyone will beat them at home by 18. I will be there and rooting for the Vikes. Have not seen Meigs play this year, but love a great High School basketball game.

I have seen Alexander and Wellston both play this year. I am saying it will be a close game. If Wellston plays any where near how they played against Jackson, they should win this game. I enjoyed going to the game tonight. VC played solid defense but they gave up way too many offensive rebounds. The pace was slow but if VC rebounds better they would have won by 20+. I watched the Alexander game before ours and they looked very solid on offense and defense.

I am looking forward to the upcoming football season, my children go to Vinton County but there is a young man from our church playing for Wellston this year. I have seen the team practice and they look very big. I think Wellston will have a great season, Vinton County needs to pass the ball more.
