Re: Portsmouth West vs. Portsmouth
if Ports. does loose it will be that they got beat by a better team, not that they beat themselves. Auger and starting fullback Justin Crace neither will be allowed to play tomorrow and heard another starter is out due to BTY. Where are u getting ur information from i havent heard anything like tha...

Re: Scioto Valley Football Week One @ Green
I think West 4th was more than just looked good since they only gave up one first down the whole game including when the entire 2nd team was playing

Re: Portsmouth West vs. Portsmouth
if West can keep Portsmouth between the tackles when they are on offense they should have no problem....outside contain is the key Portsmouth wont have time to set back and throw the ball all night

Re: West Fans - Bring back the BELL!!!
Bring back the BELL it is a tradition anyone who played for West in the past has memories of. From ringing after victories and on thursdays after walk throughs to ringing it for the last time as a senior you will never forget the Bell. With the last game being played at the old stadium its time to b...

Re: Is Portsmouth West the real deal?
When West is focused like they were against Portsmouth, their is only one southern Ohio team that can beat them and that is Ironton, and I'm really not sure they can. In my opinion, Minford is going to see next week how good they are. Minford will compete. But unless West beats themselves with turn...

Re: Is Portsmouth West the real deal?
I think Minford has the shot to beat West and I will tell you why- Last year their defense contained Pendleton to 50 some odd yards. Our D line was firing through West's O line and hitting him in the backfield. Our LB's were hitting him at the line of scrimmage as well. It was a tough night for him...

Re: SOC2: West 6-0 @ Minford 5-1
I'm glad all the Minford fans are taking us for granted saying we have not played no one. I hope their team feels the same way and shows up flat again this week, I've never seen a scoreboard at a High School game reach 100 before

Re: SOC2: West 6-0 @ Minford 5-1
To all the minford fans who keep talking about west not playing anyone lets remember west also played Piketon and Gallipolis in preseason and neither team could keep up with us. I have friends from Piketon who told me West is the hardest hitting team they have played all year. So it may not have bee...

Re: SOC2: West (5-0) @ Waverly (0-5)
The paper said Trevon scored his 3rd TD with about 4 minutes to go last week against Chesapeake. So, I guess their ones played 4 quarters Friday. REAL CLASSY WEST. GEE WHIZ! CAN SOMEONE FROM THE WORST SIDE AT LEAST ACT LIKE THEY HAVE WON A GAME BEFORE? WHAT PITIFUL LEADERSHIP TO KEEP RUNNING YOUR H...

Seriously you're going to bring that up again. It was our JV's and freshmen that was going for 2. Why don't you find a different dead horse to beat.MuletownManiac wrote:West was still going for 2 when they were up 60-0 on RH, cmon now this isnt OSU vs Michigan

Re: Week 5 - Chesapeake at West
I would like to see West schedule a couple games with a Nelsonville York, Gallia Academy, or a some other similar teams that aren't 100 miles away. Don't loose sight that we are borderline D4-D5, so even though we're really on an up swing right now and will be for a while, you will have dips in tal...

Re: Week 5 - Chesapeake at West
Yea, but why not drop one of the other OVC teams and pick CG back up? Just a thought, I understand CG is better contender each year for top in OVC??? :?: Could be a better game anyway? I would like to see us drop all of the OVC teams and pick up some teams that win games so we could benefit from so...

Re: Week 5 - Chesapeake at West
When its 60-0 though what difference does a 2 point or a 1 point conversion make is my point! When you are on the recieving end of that it doesnt seem that way! I think you don't get the point, when you have soph. and fresh. scoring touchdowns what are you going to do. There is no coach in this area...

Wonder why West doesn't play Coal Grove? They play all the other OVC schools don't they? We only get to play 5 non-conference games  Yea, but why not drop one of the other OVC teams and pick CG back up?
