Re: WK 6 Ironton @ Chillicothe
Should be a pretty interesting game. A real "measuring stick" for both teams. IMO, the winner will stay in contention for the league title and getting a big bump in computer points. Ironton will need to grind out yards on the ground and try to mimmick what Sheridan did to win the game. Iro...

Hey......There are 2 ways to make 2old shut up....very simple..... 1) Just Ignore him and his comments...He lives in his own little world and he is guilty of everything he accuses other people of so therefore why even feed him...JUST IGNORE HIM..... 2) Just ask him what his coaching record was........

Re: Ironton 10 VS Logan 35 - FINAL
Maybe you weren't there? it was 28 to 3 at half-time....the game ended 35 - 10. No, Ironton didn't come back and win but for you to say that there was no half time adjustment that benefited the Tigers seems odd to me. The only adjustment was 2 Logan turnovers in the second half that stopped scoring...

Re: Ironton 10 VS Logan 35 - FINAL
That is an awesome stadium with plenty of parking and the school looks great, something Logan should be proud of. Does anyone have an idea of how many people that place is supposed to be able to hold? OHBuckeye - Thanks. I'm surprisingly happy with the stadium. It's supposed to sit between 6000-700...

Re: Zanesville @ Logan Week #6
Big game for Logan, and the second to last home game of the season already. Also, I'm pretty sure it is homecoming. After winning the first 9 games in this series, Zanesville has lost the last 8. This will give Logan a chance to even the all-time series in this rivalry. Coach Grandstaff will have hi...

Re: Ironton 10 VS Logan 35 - FINAL
As far as the touchdown in the corner of the endzone...was right there and not only did he get one foot in...but the other was questionable...only need one in high school...having said that...it didn't matter...but if it would have...that could have been really big... This is a perfect example of t...

Re: Ironton 10 VS Logan 35 - FINAL
tl895 - Shocking excuse. Didn't see that one coming. I hate to tell you, but when one team pulls talent from outside the district like Ironton does, it certainly cancels out the size advantage of a bigger school. You all can't have it both ways. Brag about your transfers all off-season and how "...

Re: Ironton 10 VS Logan 35 - FINAL
I think Lamb was doubled teamed most of the night after the first series. Red - I saw #72 taking care of him pretty good most of the night. When a team is pass blocking against a 4-man line there is always some else available, but I'm not sure it was a "double" team. He's a nice player, I...

Re: Ironton 10 VS Logan 35 - FINAL
I thought it would be a little closer.....good luck to both the rest of the season. I92 - It really wasn't even as close as the final score. Logan turned the ball over twice in the 2nd half, once inside the Ironton 1-yard line. Logan played a great game, especially in the first half. The offense wa...

Kudos to Trimble for strengthening their non-league schedule this year!
I agree. I think Ft Loramie will be the best team Trimble faces unless they make the playoffs.

I've never seen Fort Loramie, but that part of the state knows how to hit.
Should be a hard hitting game 'cause I know the Tomcats can bring it too.

Re: HOW MANY SCHOOLS HAVE A WEIGHT LIFTING"PHYS ED CLASS"
Logan has a weight training class. Coach Amyx (a phys-ed teacher) is the instructor. Of course a lot of the football players take it as an elective, but a lot of other kids involved in other sports or activities take the class as well. Anyone who has met me knows I didn't take it, HAHA, but I knew a...

Re: WK 5 Jackson (4-0, 1-0) @ Gallia Academy (2-2, 0-1)
super - IF Logan runs the table, they will host, probably as #3 in the region. Marion Franklin from the City League will probably go 10-0 and be the 4 seed (3 if Logan stumbles), but the City League doesn't provide a whole lot of point either. Alliance is the wild card in the region. They have a lot...

Re: WK 5 Jackson (4-0, 1-0) @ Gallia Academy (2-2, 0-1)
Also, sophmore fullback Clay Arthur is really coming into his own right now. He loves contact and would rather run over you than around you. He compliments Huff very well. Plus, kicker Ryan Mullins is a real weapon. Senior leadership is a real plus on this team! Definitely. Gallipolis has some weap...

Re: WK 5 Jackson (4-0, 1-0) @ Gallia Academy (2-2, 0-1)
JJ - Would be glad to do it. It looks like that came could be a really big one in the SEOAL and in terms of computer points for both teams. Saw the Ironmen against Wellston in the first week. The line moves well and does their job, especially Hughes and Huff is a heck of a back with a big motor. I s...

mtsw -
Jackson runs a lot of power-I with some midline option mixed in and will go with an unblanced line at times.
Gallipolis runs a multi-look offense with I-formation and spread looks, in the shot gun a lot, lots of motion.
