Wow, where is this game being played?
That's a hell of a road trip.
I'll be rooting for the Tomcats, but if I had to put money on the game I'd have to bet on Ft. Loramie.
Good Luck Cats!

Re: RESERVE GAMES?
I think Logan was supposed to play GAHS tonight but the Blue Devils cancelled on Friday night I believe.

Re: Vinton County @ Athens
This is the only sure win the Bulldogs have on their schedule. VC is unathletic, and made several mental mistakes against Waverly. Athens 29 VC 6 Roof! Roof! Funny, that's what the SEOAL always said about Athens. You seem awfully cocky considering the Bulldogs are 0-4. I'm rooting for Athens for my...

Re: WK 5 Jackson (4-0, 1-0) @ Gallia Academy (2-2, 0-0)
Cody Huff is a darn nice running back with good balance and vision, and he runs extremely hard. Jackson's front line on both sides of the ball are strong an athletic, not big and slow like some of the past years. Ryan Hughes is John Leonard all over again for the red and white. I got to see Jackson ...

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Why bring up Logan and their game if this thread is for Jackson/Gallipolis only?

Re: Week 4 Player of the Week Nominations
I'd also put up Mason Mays from Logan. 8 rushes, 85 yards (10.625 per carry) 3 catches, 96 yards, 2 TDs (32 yards per catch) 181 yards of total offense and a TD on 11 total touches. That's 16.45 yards per touch. And he played most of the game out of position at tailback where he hadn't played a snap...

Re: Win your league or make the playoffs; which one?
OH, i have no problem at all with the results of 04. I persoanlly thinkk a winning record should be required to advance. As far as 05, I wish Logan had made the playoffs. They were league champions in a very weak league. I said that could happen. Logan was also D-1 which is the fast lane on Ohio hi...

I don't think you'll see skyhigh (or the blueguru) anywhere but the sidelines.
But hey, stranger things have happened.

It easier for Coldwater to win the state than it is their own league. I hate to tell you, but winning the MAC means a lot in western Ohio.

Ohio States D Was Left at home!!! Was more upset with the O-Line! Too bad "Air" wasn't a USC defender. Maybe then Alex Boone would have blocked someone? Florida, LSU, USC.....different QBs/Offenses, same left tackle. Same result. And that guys a first round draft pick? Only my Bungles wou...

4ever, After watching Ohio State stink it up in the Coliseum last night, I didn't think I could feel much worse. Then I realized that the Browns play tonight. Maybe they'll brighten up the weekend for us, but I have my doubts. Imagine being a Bengals fan and going down to Cincinnati to watch the &q...

The confusion is the fact that the rule you're referring to is several years old, not "new."

But football coaches don't award scholarships. This isn't Ohio State we are talking about.
Keep making the excuses. Don't make yourself better. Make the job easier instead of yourself. That seems to be the American way these days.

The way I understand the rule, yes.
For instance, if an athlete qualifies for vouchers under state or federal program, the state/federal government can pay for their education. But those programs are open to ALL students.
