Position by position (IMO): OFFENSE QB: Joey Conrad (2000) over Mike Angle (2007) TB: Derek Harden (2000) over Justin Frye (2007) (extremely close) FB: Jamey Hankison (2000) over Mark Potter (2007) WR: 2000 (Johnny Conrad, Ryan Wykle, Travis Keirns, Jesse Henestofel) over 2007 (Lucas Wright, Seth Mo...

noreply - Your point is valid. But when it comes to schedule, here's all I will say: 2007 Logan lost to Lancaster, who finished third in their division of the OCC. 2000 Logan beat two of the three D1 state champions (West. South, Pickerington [who was also 11-0]) Even based on schedule strength I'll...

This is a pretty simple answer IMO. 2000 was a much better football. That doesn't mean the 2000 team wasn't great, they certainly were. But the 2000 team went 10-0, but beyond that beat 2 of the then 3 OCC D1 champions. I'd say that the '07 is probably the 2nd best LHS team I've seen (1992-now), but...

When Patrick Angle is held without a field goal, the Chiefs are going to have trouble. Combine that with he and Wright totalling 7 points between them and it's big trouble. Great games by Zach Adams and Jeff Dietz on the inside. Great effort by everyone on the purple side, but cold shooting was too ...

Army - People in glass houses should throw stones. Unless you meant the Scioto River? There again....you are stirring the pot. Why don't you try to practice what you preach on here. But of course I would expect that from a know it all sports man who never played Football but tries to in-put to othe...

Locos, I remember not to long ago, you saying Zanesville is not going anywhere. Where did I say this? I've long suspected Zanesville was likely to leave. They constantly been in the worst position in regards to travel and they sit in an area where there are a TON of potential opponents to make sche...

My prediction is Marietta. Makes no sense to travel that far for games. Same goes for Warren. Man, that league takes the cake for travel in Ohio. The SEOAL has had a good run. 100 years I guess. Surely going independent would be great for the kids. Play different schools. Obviously you've never bee...

Army - You have too much time on your hands. Fans sit around all day and dream up leagues. That's fantasy land. The reality is that ADs join league's for one reason: EASE OF SCHEDULING. It's the reason that Portsmouth and Chillicothe neither one will go back to being and independent. As for Marietta...

The TVC doesn't seem to have any real interest in Warren, whether Warren has interest I don't know. With ZHS leaving, Ironton may be willing to reconsider staying in this league. IMO, Chillicothe, Portsmouth, Gallipolis, Logan, Jackson, Marietta, and Warren (in that order) are not going anywhere. I ...
