Assuming high school football resumes this fall with zero or a very limited crowd allowed, the trick may not be only technical but rather how to monetize the streaming. Districts may be desperate for cash to fund their football programs.
This is very insightful. I've been thinking the same.

Re: Livestreaming games

any chance of a live stream this year LL? You'll have to tune into the radio station's feed. I loved doing it - and I had a great partner. But honestly living in Dublin and having two kids makes committing to doing 10 or more games impossible for me. Never say never - I still have all the equipment...

Re: Top 5 All time QB's, RB's, WR's and OL from your school

Best returner I ever seen at Logan! Always a threat to take it back. His battle with the Tri Valley reciever on them last three passes was epic! He was devastated on the last one but nothing to be ashamed of. That was a great game, probably best ever at the old field even in a loss. Completely agre...

Re: SEOAL - The Final History - Champions - POY - COY

Willie Woodard from Jackson is listed on previous posts here also and he was closer to 6' 6" than the 6'3" listed on POY list (1991)on this thread. His Mom & Dad are from Middleport & Pomeroy originally and family on my Dad's side with his Mom. The SEOAL release from '91 lists him at 6'3 and the Al...

Re: Consolidation is about to get real

VC stays same Logan changes to HC Morgan changes to MC Logan is already the only school in Hocking County. It's already the Logan-Hocking School District. Unless the Hocking County kids who go to N-Y, Berne Union, or Logan Elm get moved into Logan-Hocking somehow why would there be any change? The ...

It's nice to see half the kids I played against at Logan on this list at least I know I wasn't playing scrubs lmao. But on another note o think Lucas Wright might be a top db too not sure on Logan's whole history but that kid was a stud on defense too Luke was definitely a Top 5 DB too, haha. Just ...

Re: Logan Football - From the Vault (Stay-at-home entertainment)

I'd also say the 2017 Tri-Valley state runner up would be an acceptable choice. They took Trotwood the distance and almost beat them. Hoban is just a monster. They'd probably make some noise at the national level. I don't think Tri-Valley could have played 3-4 games at that level. Great team that p...

Do you have the 05 and 06 GA Logan games?
I posted '05. It is missing Gallia's last TD (have the two point conversion).

I have the '06 game, too. If we're "home" long enough I'll probably post it too, haha.

Re: Logan Football - From the Vault (Stay-at-home entertainment)

Locos must forget Athens put a running clock on Desales. Desales lost to OCC champ 11-2 Westerville Central 21-17. Also 2000 Logan barely beat a 3-7 Zanesville team. Athens was up 55-14 at half on Zanesville who went to state 2 of 3 years Zanesville was 5-5 in 2014 and their best win was over a 5-5...

Re: Logan Football - From the Vault (Stay-at-home entertainment)

Disagree with the part about D-I being head and shoulders above the rest of the mid-large school divisions. Give me the state championship team Trotwood-Madison or any Winton Woods team from the past few years against the likes of St. Ed or Pick North or Colerain. Winton Woods lost to Elder and los...

Re: Logan Football - From the Vault (Stay-at-home entertainment)

The Athens babies should have never left the SEOAL. But I can think of a number of Logan Squads that would have gave the Burrow team all they wanted, and then some. Raider knows this deep down too. No Logan team would have kept it close. Be close at half and end up 42-21. D1 athletes vs D3 athletes...

What is the only team to beat a Athens joe burrow lead team in the regular season. Sorry I am a little off subject but the answer I think will help the Logan argument.
Gallipolis (and Coach Eddy!) beat Joe his first start as a sophomore in 2012. Good loaded question

Re: Logan Football - From the Vault (Stay-at-home entertainment)

Good stuff! I remember listening to that game on the radio the following year and it was shocking how Athens beat them down in that game. Athens hadn't beat Logan since the early 70's before that if my memory serves me right. Wasn't Mr. McAllister the Principal or some big shot at Athens more recen...

TrojanDave: I thought you might enjoy these videos. Logan won the Portsmouth Holiday Tournament in 1985-86. I think this is still probably Logan's all-time greatest team. Despite the loss of co-captain and leading scorer Kerry York in January, Logan won 21 straight games before falling to Lancaster ...

Now we're talking. Nice find locos! Is that Dave McAllister who used to be principal for Logan? I never knew he QB for Athens back then if that is him. That is wild! Thanks for posting locos! Never mind I just saw in the caption it was his son. That makes more sense. Its the Principal's son. The ne...
