Re: SOC Previews Recap
Northwest and Wheelersburg do not play in the regular season with the league realignment. Burg does play Eastern, Symmes Valley, and Western from the new middle division Don't play Minford either. Should atleast play them once. Northwest should win 18+ games. IMO, the have a cream puff schedule com...

Re: Foundation Games
Anyone know the SOC Preview schedule. I know it's at Northwest but that's all I've heard.

Re: SOC 1,2,3 Rankings
Forgot about NW last year's success. First 5 are very good. A full/healthy year of Lintz with Boling, Jenkins and Lewis all seniors should be a good squad. How will their depth be?

SOC 1,2,3 Rankings
With the new conference alignments, how do the rankings shake down? Also, I have no idea what the conferences will be called. Hopefully the small school division is not SOCI and the largest division SOC 3 (although South Webster and Valley are both smaller than Oak Hill and Northwest) Minford Wheele...

Re: Week 5: West (3-1) at Waverly (3-1) Saturday
Can't help think about the teams West could have. Don't get me wrong, the kids we have in place now are excellent. I'm just thinking about how dominant we could be in all sports. Hurd boys to Waverly. Phillips, Coleman. Kingery to ND (Could add Cassidy and Hart, too) McNeil and Powell to Valley. I w...

Re: Week 4: Valley (0-3) at Waverly (2-1)
Offensively, I would like to see the QB set his feet before throwing. There have been multiple times where he wasn't under pressure and makes throws off his back foot. Think this is his first time seeing majority of minutes at QB and fundamentally you can tell. He has a great arm, just needs to wor...

Re: Week 2 Coal Grove at Lucasville Valley
You all keep mentioning transfers. If I ain't mistaken both the qb and rb are transfers from West. My point is something attracted them to Valley. But what will attract more players to come out is them knowing they'll be competitive. Just my opinion but I think there's some who look at Valley's sche...

Re: Week 1: Valley @ Portsmouth
What division is valley in? What are the sizes of all the schools they play? 1 to 2 divisions bigger. Having kids in the school, Valley is loaded through and through with skill kids, not so much in the line department. Maybe the answer is in the SOC either expanding ot realigning to be more balance...

Re: Week 1: Valley @ Portsmouth
I know you can't put a lot of stock in scrimmages because teams don't reveal too much, but based on how P-town handled Waverly, I'd say the Trojans in this one. Valley can't score if they don't have the ball and the Trojan run game keeps the clock rolling.

Re: Scrimmage Results
Valley is very young. Maybe 30 kids out. Counting 1 senior and 8 juniors, the math says 21 players are freshmen and sophomores.
Valley's receivers, rbs, and qb are very talented, but as with any team, success will be determined by the O-line.

Re: Wheelersburg v Harrison Central; D3 Reg. Final
t6 7-4 WB One of the sloppier games this field has seen in regional action. Leadoff hitter for ‘Burg in the 5th gets plunked on first pitch, sac bunt isn’t fielded right and throwing error puts runners on the corners. Third batter hits a hopper to 3B, runner on 3rd goes home; throw fired to home, r...

Re: Northwest possibly destroying their own program??
BigBlueNation, I hope not. I know how rumors go - so I hope this is all it is. I understand wanting to have opponents that you're competitive with, but NW moving back to SOC2 was known years ago. It's not right for NW kids to hear this, but also, it's not fair to Minford, WB, and West. I'm sure most...

Re: Northwest possibly destroying their own program??
Can't believe this is even being considered. How can Northwest justify even remotely contemplating forfeiting games? There is a lot more at stake than just "what is best for Northwest". How would this effect playoff points? Do you get a win for forfeiting? What if you can't get a replaceme...
