I've watched them play in three playoff games in this area since living here for the past ten years. I'm converting the Miami Valley residents one fan at a time lol...

Would have loved to have seen this game. Way to go Ironmen. Huge, huge, win. Will do nothing but help you in the grand scheme of things.

Re: Ironton (5-1) @ Jackson (5-1)
Ironman02 you apparently weren't at the Withrow playoff game in 2004. This was a great game but isn't close to the best ever tag. I put it in the top ten, but there were several games in 2003 & 2004 that were as good. 2004 Withrow is still by far the best team I have ever seen a Jackson team be...

Re: SEOAL Ironton (4-2, 2-1) @ Jackson (6-0, 3-0)
Let's get it together Ironmen. Don't allow this loss to define your season. You're better than that. You lost to a respectable team, don't beat yourselves up for it. Some of the pre-season info I received here in Dayton was that you will have an average season. You've already exceeded that. Man up a...

WOW, WHAT A GAME! Great win for Jackson. Tough penalty on the Trojans. I don't know if I could handle another tough loss after the Buckeyes and Bengals let me down this past week.

Re: Portsmouth (1-2) @ Jackson (3-0)
I'm starting to see a pattern with the last two games. Jackson has a strong fist half, but seems to struggle in the second half. Hopefully, that matter has been addressed and they can put together four solid quarters on both sides of the ball. League play begins now, and it's time to crank it up a n...

Re: WK 3 (1-1) Vinton County @ (2-0) Jackson
That's what it sounded like they were doing as I was listening on the net. Also sounded like Jackson made the necessary adjustments and got things done in the air. Time to tear into the teeth of the SEOAL. Good luck Ironmen.ironman02 wrote: Vinton County stacked the box with 9 and 10 guys all night!

Re: WK 3 (1-1) Vinton County @ (2-0) Jackson
Jackson sounds like they can't get going in the second half. If Vinton can get their Offense going this thing can get interesting. Jackson sounds like their own worse enemy right now. Not to take anything away from Vinton b/c they have keyed in on Huff and made some nice stops.

Video is now available as well over at m Thanks.. As it stands we do not have a game 3 to cover. Our sponsorship search has been a bit dry. To be honest we have been so busy just getting the site and other things ironed out that we haven't had time to pursue them just yet. I can be reached at 937-7...

Re: WK 2 (1-0) Jackson @ (1-0) Waverly
Waverly always plays hard nose against Jackson. I knew it would be close regardless of the first half lead. Sounds like it was a great game. I hope Waverly wins out the rest of the season. Congrads to my beloved Ironman.

Re: Will Chad Johnson stay with the Bengals?
Oh how the tide has turned. Chad has been running his mouth since day one, and all I heard was, "Oh, he's just playing around. He's just having some fun. He can back it up." There have been a ton of CJ Defenders who have thrown me and others under the bus who simply wanted Chad to play the...

Re: Reds fire Wayne Krivsky, name Walt Jocketty GM
I think Wayne waisted too much of Bob's money, and Bob took it personal. Jeff Brantley, the sleeping cowboy, said that WK was too nice of a guy. An example he sited was when the Reds resigned Todd Coffey to "help boost his confidence" and it was deals like that, that hurt WK. That's fine a...

No doubt the injuries have decimated the Bengals, but in that past few games I have seen some really dumb coaching decisions. For instance, agaisnt SF with a little over 2min to go in the game, Cinci has all three time outs remaining, and Lewis challenged a possible (it makes me laugh to type that) ...
