Re: South Point Head Coach
Good luck to him. He has his work cut out for him. But did Kratzenburg quit or was let go? I thought all things considered he did a good job for the situation he had.

Re: Most Annoying Fans in SEO
Fairland.... Hands down. Even when they are up by 100 the fans will still figure up something to complain about. Coal Grove fans and Ironton basketball fans (Football fans is a completely different story) have their moments, but it's constantly Fairland.

Re: Coach Changes
Is it someone South Point tried to hire before (4 years ago) and baulked the hiring at the board meeting, hiring someone else instead?

Re: Coaches Handshakes
From the few Rock Hill games I've been to, I've seen Chesapeakes Ryan Davis and Coal Groves Kevin Vanderhoof shake hands of players from the opposite team during the starting lineups. I was thinking about that the last week to. It's usually delegated to an assistant while the head coach goes over la...

Re: Ironton BOE Meeting 12/19
Okay, if Ironton believes they are getting anyone who is a good coach, you are sadly mistaking. The fans are the #1 problem. Why do you think Mark Lutz didn't want the Ironton job in the first place, unrealistic expectations. You are proving his point now. You ran a great coach in Triplett out of to...

Re: OVC Previews
My ranking from the preview: 1) Fairland (obviously) 2) Gallia Academy 3) Portsmouth 4-6: Ironton, Coal Grove, South Point in no particular order 7) Chesapeake 8) Rock Hill (hopefully they will be looking up here in a few years, a lot of younger players in the Jr. High system who will contribute in ...

Re: Coal Grove vs. Nelsonville-York @ Jackson
Thinking about going up to Jackson for this one. Pulling for the Hornets but my gut tells me Nelsonville wins.
Not to get to off subject (looks like a lot of you have done a great job of it already), wheres a good place to eat in Jackson?

Re: Round 1 Playoffs DVI , R23 #6 (8-2) Shenandoah @ #3 (9-1) Coal Grove
I saw the picture on Twitter it was a TD. Shenandoah got robbed. Like I said before, Doah the better team and dominated the whole game. Refs gave Coal Grove the game. Attached are pictures of the catch. Maybe I'm wrong and if somebody tells me different I apologize. What does pics have to do with t...

Heck of a game to watch. I can see CG going for another couple of games. Watched it on Coal Grove live last night (good thing I decided not to go, parking had to be a b!#@$).

Run down of OVC Stadiums (per Ohiostadiums.com) Rock Hill:5700 Ironton: 3400 Chesapeake: 3500 Coal Grove: 2500 Fairland: 1211 Gallia: 150 (HIGHLY doubt that) South Point: 3664 Portsmouth: 5500 (OHSAA has it at 7400) Rock Hill, Coal Grove, South Point and Chesapeake seems a little massaged, and Galli...

Re: How many does your stadium hold?
Bellaire seats 5,000. The top of the visitor stands does offer a standing room the entire length. These are considered prime and increase the visitor side 300 hundred or more. Many Bell Fans actually stand there each week for premium viewing. I have for over 40 years. The Bellaire visitor stands ac...

Re: WEEK 8 (4-3) IRONTON @ (6-1) COAL GROVE.
Ironton is getting 3 plays and a punt. That is coaching and ref's are missing calls. Coal Grove Kids our playing their hearts out no doubt about that but Irontons coaching is bad and that is giving a good grade. #rd and 19 and allow a 18 pass that is coaching In typical Ironton fashion, you have fo...

Re: wk8 Gallia Acadamy @ Rock Hill
This was a huge moral booster for the Tribe. Also, playing after such tragic events at the level they did is impressive. Also hats off to the McClellan boy from Gallia. He is an unbelievably good QB. 40 points in a quarter is absolutely impressive. This also proves our pass defense needs some work. ...

Prayers requested for the Rock Hill Community
Please pray for the Rock Hill community. There was a triple homicide last night. There was a 7 year old boy missing afterwards, but he was found this morning (I've heard two different things about him being found so I won't comment the condition). School, all school related activities including a Jr...
