Clay practices everyday through the week if a game isn’t scheduled. If the weather is bad they practice indoors.

Pitching stats are also subjective depending on the team the pitcher faces. Are teams throwing their #1 pitcher against the better teams or are they throwing them against the weaker teams to beef up their stats and throwing their #2 or #3 pitchers against the better teams. Stats are definitely subjective depending on who is taking the stats. I would never trust the stats if a parent is keeping the book and that includes a coach who has a kid on a the team unless it was someone independent doing book.

For Clay, Swain, pitcher, has thrown well all year and has had a good year at the plate and should be a top candidate. Two others that have been hitting consistently through the year are Vassar and Bazler. Both should be close to hitting .500 if not over.

There is another good group coming up behind the 7 juniors. There are a few Freshman that doesn't start that could start on most of the area teams this year. Plus the current 8th graders this year that will be coming up is another good group.

There is one senior on the team. She is a pitcher/right fielder.
