That is a lot. How many in the 3rd and 4th? Seems to be when the stall ball nonsense, as well as the substitution issues were apparent.
No no no…keep blaming the hall of fame coach for this loss. No reason to stop now.*

There it is. I don’t want to hear about Webster’s coaching or the refs. You turn the ball over 21 times against a real team, you lose. Period.

Backcourt has been an issue in big games all year for Webster.*

Re: Regional Championship THE South Webster Jeeps vs Berlin Hiland

Does anybody know if this is the first meeting between Berlin Hiland and South Webster in basketball? I know they have met in soccer and baseball postseason play before. As for this one, like others already said, Hiland not going to beat themselves. Webster going to have to be dialed in from the ope...

Re: South Webster 22-3 vs. Leesburg Fairfield 22-3 REGIONAL SEMI

Maybe Webster blows them out, but they didn’t blow out lesser teams the last two rounds, so I just don’t see it. Webster should win, but I’d put it closer to 8-10 at the high end. Fairfield is in the regionals for a reason and I know people here don’t like Coach Williams’ intensity, but the kids pl...

Re: N W VS BURG

Congrats to the Mohawks…great to see this for their community, school, and fans! Lintz was best player on the floor today. Bolin was right behind him. And their fan support was unreal…loved hearing that roar in the Convo after every Northwest bucket! As for Burg, great season overall. Overachieved a...

Re: Jeeps vs Tomcats 3/8/24

Shupert hit some big shots from outside for Webster tonight. And Roberts finally had enough of his outside shots not falling and started getting to the rim anytime he wanted in the 2nd half. Great defensive effort from the Jeeps as a whole. Congrats to Norm on #800, and hope the Jeeps can keep advan...

Re: N W VS BURG

Congrats to Lintz and Bolin for getting co player of the year and Jenkins for getting defensive player of the year in SOC2. Scarberry was coach of the year. Well deserved, all the way around. Yep…glad to see Northwest’s big 3 and coach all get recognized. Best Mohawks team since the Jerry Barlow te...

Re: Best Lineman 2024?

Kade Woods from West the best offensive lineman in SOC II, hands down. Wood and Smith from Valley are solid players on both sides of the ball, but particularly on defense. Burg has Landon Evans and Nathan Lanning on the offensive line who are both coming off injuries last year, but will be part of ...

Re: N W VS BURG

Great to see Northwest making a run. This has been a real fun group to watch since junior high. They've finally put it all together this season and giving their school/fans some great memories. But like the poster said above, I just can't go against Burg against another SOC team in a game like this....

Re: Jeeps vs Tomcats 3/8/24

Expecting a grind-it-out, ugly game tonight. Trimble going to be physical with Roberts...he's got to keep focused. I expect Timothy to be a key contributor for the Jeeps with boards and putbacks as he will benefit from Trimble's focus on Roberts. Give me the Jeeps as District Champs and winning 48-4...

Keyser was absolutely phenomenal in the 2nd half against Fairland. Minford's offense still runs through Montgomery since he a shoot-first point guard. But Keyser is one heck of a second option for the Falcons.*

Re: 3/3 Northwest v Portsmouth

Knowbody will admit it but Portsmouth won't be as good next year. I'm not sure Coach knew exactly what he was getting into. Who won’t admit it? Portsmouth loses a bunch of seniors, and their jv team and incoming freshmen class are both really down. Unless they can load up on multiple transfers, loo...

Lattimore only 2nd team? Joke. How many 30 pt games did he have down the stretch for the SOC III champs and #1 overall seed?

Always has been, and always will be, politics in the postseason awards, but this is next level shenanigans.*
