Re: Coal Grove (0-2) @ Valley (2-0)

If Valley is as good as it sounds then this should be easy for them. I am a Hornet fan 100 percent, but when your o-line that has the size to knock any d-line around just can't and your quarterback has duct tape on his fingers when he should be throwing it I don't see how we can beat anyone. The pas...

Re: WK 2 (1-0) Paint Valley @ (0-1) Coal Grove

Well, I don't know where to start, the blame for this loss goes to everyone all the way down to the coaching staff. If we are going to pass the ball then we need to throw it, don't hold on to it and take the sack. If we are to run the ball then our line needs to open holes for our backs. Our defense...

The Great Debate

On ESPN.com they are going to be having a online tournement to decide which state has the best high school footballl. They have Ohio ranked number 4(kinda low for us I believe), all seops need to keep track of when Ohio has their online poll. Ohio's first round is against Penn. Come on everyone, let...

And I really call it no school spirit, if meigs gets embarassed then you can look good leaving on the visitors side.

Re: WK 2 (0-1) Fairland @ (1-0) Meigs

Looks to me like Meigs is sound on both sides of the ball. Coal Grove is a good team and good teams make good plays, but Meigs was tough when it counted. Meigs has always liked to hit, and there is a lot of heart on that team. They seem to want this season more than they seemed to last year. I'm lo...

Re: WK 2 (1-0) Paint Valley @ (0-1) Coal Grove

well thats what they use as an excuse when they lost to meigs Who used that as an excuse, I posted on our thread about the Meigs game that the Meigs fans on our side was classless espcially the one who thought he was Al Pacino in "Scent of a Woman", but that wasn't why we lost, we lost du...

Re: WK 1 Coal Grove @ Meigs

If there is anything good to look at, if we can have that bad of execution of both sides of the ball and lose only by 11, then we have a real good team, O-line needs to learn how to block and we need to get those big guys on the O-line into a rotation on defense. Last night wasn't that Meigs was be...

Re: Letter to the Fans from Bob Castellini and Walt Jockety

I started paying more attention to NASCAR now, the Reds don't know what they are doing or where they are going, they have so many spots to fill it will be another 20 years before we are contenders again.

McCollister is not your normal freshman... he has grown up around the game (his dad has coached for years)... he's familiar with the RH system and so the learning curve hasn't been that enormous... He has attended QB camp after camp in order to polish his form... he has the genetics going for him (...

Re: OVC Previews

What I took from last night 1. Rock Hill--played a good game, there were points that there quarterback eyeballed his receiver the entire play before throwing to him, he will need to watch that in the later part of the season. 2. River Valley--They will be the suprise of the OVC this year, look for a...

I would like to see a run like '90, looking at our schedule they may be able to pull off enough big wins to not just make the playoffs but hava a first round game at home.

Starts at 5:30, thats all I have, thats all that was sayed at Meet the Hornets the other night, but if we go off of last years previews then it should be River Valley vs. Rock Hill Chesepeake vs. South Point Fairland vs. Rock Hill That should be the order due to River Valley wanting to go first due...

Amen to that mission

These boys have never had the target on their backs, we need to see how they act as defending champs.
