We was undefeated for 5 years running in Jr High. But the state wouldn't let some of our boys play in high school just cause they were 19 and 20 years old. Pizzed me off.Fletchlives wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2018 4:51 pm Look at the source of the thread. Explains why they didn't win much when he coached

Re: Who's the strongest in SEO
There are dudes playing at tOSU who are squating 500-600, so I doubt a high school freshman is parallel squating 540. JMO though. This was in the Southern Ohio regional meet. State powerlifting rules. He went for the record of 570 and didn't get it. He is about 5'11 250 and is a absolute ...

Re: Not good !!!!!
This kid will not be successful at Baylor. Period. Somewhere much smaller. Possibly. Not sure why you think my boys boy can't be successful there, but to tell ya the truth I think he can play both basketball and football there. It's early, but he's got LSU on his brain since that boy from Athens ma...

Re: Meigs vs Eastern
Eastern has had zero talent since Howie was there. That is evident in the results in the regular season in the tournament. You can blame the coaches all you want, but they have not won a sectional title since the young fat guy was there. He did a nice job when he followed Howie and actually got the...

Re: PARENTS GETTING EJECTED
Back when my boy played I got thrown out of every game he played in. That's from youth league all the way through jr high. He never got to play in high school, cause he got too old. But he played 5 years of 8th grade ball so that was enough. If he'd have made it to high school I probably would have ...

To be honest ! I would like to see the 6'7 fr. Vs 7' 1 Sr. Match up in bball play against each other ! I'd like to see either or both of those two trying to match up with the 6'6" 8th grader from Racine. He's a little old for an 8th grader but it runs in the family. His dad says he's already d...

Re: 14th annual “Are power cleans good for footballers debate?
^^^ I think he is referring to cattle balls. They are heavy pieces of iron used in weight training. Popularized by the Russians and they are the training tool of choice in Racine, They moved on from those slimy, nasty things. They're now leaping over parked cars as they dunk basketballs while they'...

Re: Next Meigs Football Coach
I believe there are some very good applicants for the job. The latest I have heard is a guy that has coached in Meigs County in the past, has also coached in WV in the past. I am going to leave a name out of this post, only because my source hasn't been the most reliable in the past. If someone els...

Re: The Battle of Forked Run: Racine Southern @ Reedsville Eastern
The reason forked Run is in eastern district is due to their early dominance in this series. The land was up for grabs and was given to the eagles because eastern key winning. It’s the reason my grandpa invented the wing t offense. He wanted to win the park back for the people of Portland. And his p...

Re: Southern looking for a new coach.
If this guy is gonna win in Racine he needs to get them Grueser boys to show him the single wing. That’s what we was running in 1985 when we won the SVAC. They ain’t been close since we quit running that. If he wants good defense he needs to Tom Smith involved again. 1985 was a special year. What e...

Cattleballs as a training tool for football
We used to use these heavy weighted balls for weightlifting. Is anyone else using this technology in their programs? What are your thoughts. I heard them called cattleballs. Seems like an odd name for a training tool.

Re: TVC HOCKING COULD GET INTERESTING
It was good to see things going in a way that reminded me of our glory days in racine. Since I done thave much say in the football program or the the running of the wing t offense I guess i just need to focus on basketball. bring bak the glory days.

Back in my day Wahama wouldn't even play us because they knew what kind of whuppin they would get. Nowadays they keep us from winning the tvc on a regular basis. Hoping we can right the ship tonight.
