Re: Trimble (3-0) vs South Gallia (1-2)- Week 4
Why should Trimble change leagues when they've been in the TVC for a very long time, dating back to the 70s I think If they are worried about competition. Why should everyone else leave the league? I'm not saying they should, just stating to the complainers on this thread that they could leave easi...

Re: New Conference
Count us in. We won't be picky we just want a league for our kids to compete in. Plus we might be able to win this thing a time or two. ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

Re: A new SEO Conference
I've always thought there was a way to build a super conference that would benefit basically all schools. At first glance I'd look at something like this.. DIVISION 1 Jackson Wheelersburg Ironton Waverly Gallia Academy Chillicothe DIVISION 2 Portsmouth West Portsmouth Fairland Valley Minford South ...

Re: Miller leaving the TVC ?
I like this idea:
Nelsonville
Meigs
Wellston
Trimble
Alexander
Vinton County
Belpre
And either Oak Hill or Fort Frye
My preference being the Oaks because of superior facilities

Re: Eastern Meigs Eagles 2019 Football & more
And for what it's worth the worst move they ever made is to let Pam retire. If they'd really pleaded with her she would have stayed on and finished some of the things she had in the hopper. One thing is she was in talks with the best coach they ever had there, Buzz Kirkhart, and pretty much had him...

meatswinger If you are going to troll me and say stupid stuff at least get the years correct. You are thinking of the 1985 Soutwestern team that also went 8-2. Newerk Catholic probably would have defeated the 85 team fairly easily but SW did not get in. I will say this that both the 1980 and 1985 S...

Re: Downs out at Vinton County
The worst part is when they hired Downs they could have had Jackie O. Incidentally, Jackie O was voted Coach of he Year this past season. Now, let the search for a coach with a "catchy nickname" and who is a "proven winner" begin. Didn't they have a guy named Brick Wal...

Re: Athens @ Meigs 1/4
I just read the Athens Sunday Messenger sports section and I do think Maxfield may have put himself in the lead for now for POY. Read where he had 19 with 7 coming in the 4th quarter where Athens only led by 1 going in to that 4th and then held Meigs to 4 points. Good to see Williams starting to ge...

Re: A-11 Offense, when will it hit Ohio?
I wouldn't doubt if VC has spring ball. Jesty tried that at SG but we stuck to the rules and disallowed it. Since he went to VC I wouldn't doubt that he tried it there too. They may still be doing it.Cato wrote: ↑Fri Jan 04, 2019 9:26 pmWe have spring ball?Kenny Bixx wrote: ↑Fri Jan 04, 2019 2:28 pm I hear VC is experimenting with this stuff in spring ball

The Hawking has always been doomed. Back in the days of the SVAC we had a solid league. Southern Eastern South Gallia and Hannah. That was a great league. then someone thought they could do better and look what we have now......
