Re: Minford bought wasted field over field turf??
From my understanding, most turf projects that are funded by donations aren't given to the school. They are given to a third party, that way you can protect the donations from this sort of spending. Curious about the whole truth and nothing but truth, which we will probably never get. Turf Project ...

Re: The SOCS Wireless Shootout Dec. 30th Waverly Downtown Arena
I remember when the "Downtown Arena" was referenced as "Hawee's Palace". Maybe SMurray can shed some light on the history and information. Still one of the best places, if not the best place in SEO to catch a game. Might need to make the short drive down to catch this slate of g...

Re: End of an Era at Valley.......
It is always a good day to see someone of Coach Crabtrees caliber retire after their enormous impact on a community. One of the best.

Re: Playoff attendance
I really enjoy watching high school sports, but driving to a game outside of my general vicinity is becoming not worth it. First off, ticket prices increasing 140% is absurd when that money does not go back to the kids. I have no problem with buying tickets online, but paying a processing fee is mor...

Re: South Gallia to SOC?
SVC won't accept a team and be at 9 schools. The SVC would have to add at least 4 teams and split or wait until a school leaves before Waverly even has a shot at joining.

Re: South Gallia to SOC?
Waverly wants out allegedly? Where would Waverly go? SVC? FAC? I don't think it is realistic. SVC would have to add more teams and split or have a team leave first. I don't like Waverly wants to be a part of switching leagues (FAC) and not winning many league titles. They can stay where they are an...

Re: Burg 2021
I don't know if you wanna consistently play Wheelersburg and Ironton They're the only schools outside of maybe Steubenville that you have to put City and State beside the players in the Program. Why not consistently play them? It would be fun and different scenery for a change Kirtland80, You seem,...

Re: Gallia Academy 2021
GA loses a lot of players this year. Looks like a complete rebuild for the Devils, they look to have limited depth on line but they have plenty of solid young skill kids 2021 team will be better off I hope you're right. May be taking some of those graduates for granted though. Loganlocos, it seems ...

Re: Injured during the week, but play in a game?
There are many reasons why a kid can miss a week of practice and still play in a game. Maybe the coach is smart, oh my is that possible, and doesn't want the play to reaggravate the injury in a practice.
