Re: WK9 Athens @ River Valley
Jason Peck is known for playing varsity players in JV games, but hey, he needs to win somewhere. However, I don’t know that anyone saved or lost their job based off of the JV record. It’s quite apparent he has lost this team. Too much talent to be absolutely horrendous like they are. Peck has waste...

Re: G.O.W. WK9 Ironton @ Gallia Academy (OVC Chip)
Hey gang, pal and I plan on coming to this. Anyone recommend good places to eat in the French City? Or any good places within reasonable distance of the game that are accessible either from the Rt 35/OH-160 eastward or Rt 7 southward directions of travel? How is the parking situation at Memorial Fi...

Re: Best QB in SEO?
Moore from Athens is very good Sucks Athens doesn’t like to play freshmen. Moore to Wheatley next year will be fun to watch. Wheatley on the JV isn’t fair Dumb. Is this 1964 college basketball? A lot of freshman are older than some sophomores Experience and size are what counts in varsity football....

Re: Will South Gallia ever leave the TVC Hocking?
Why would they? They might not compete too well in football and basketball, but more than hold their own in xc, wrestling, track and some of the other sports. Drive time isn't too bad, considering some of the other places we go.

Re: WK3 Point Pleasant (0-0) @ Gallia Academy (2-0 0-0) "BATTLE OF THE BRIDGE"
I'm going with Point by whatever they want it to be. We sat behind their coaches at the GA/RV game. When they left at the 2nd quarter, told them good luck, and to beat them for us, said no problem, they aren't worried about anyone or anything GA has. Lol. How did that work out for you? As a GA grad...

Re: Your Least Favorite HS Venue
Gallipolis plays in a sewer pit. football was meant to be played on grass, not the fake stuff, everytime your neighbor buys something do you go get the same thing. GA athletic department is self sufficient. None of that changes the fact that it’s a sewer pit. From what I understand, you have a trac...

Re: Your Least Favorite HS Venue
Every stadium in Gallia County are absolutely horrible. No excuse for football still being played at memorial field with the wealth that exists in Gallipolis and Gallia County. As far as River Valley and South Gallia you can thank the administration and the board for building such poor stadiums. Th...

River Valley scrimmages at Symmes Valley August 15, and has one with Rock Hill the next week. 7x7 went well and they've been looking good in practice.

We basically do this already when we sign the concussion paper, Lindsey's law paper, the liability waiver, physical forms, and all the other paperwork that gets signed before our kids play any sport, not just football.

Re: Winter Preview of TVC G & B- OH/HOCK-2019
Eastern is losing a few of those to baseball, but Brad Hawk is switching over so that will make Eastern hard to stop with two sprinters who run sub :12 100s and sub :56 400s with him and Browning. Also Hawk will be able to take Davis' spot in shot put and throw over 50 feet. Over 50 ft! Has t...
