Re: Week 5 Waverly at Washington Court House
I know it is still early, but it will be highly unfortunate for both teams players, coaches and fans if neither team is able to find a game this week. Seems as tho they aren’t as many cancellations happening in this area as there was in the first couple of weeks. Exactly Waverly is on the phone lik...

Re: Waverly vs Piketon — let’s make it happen
With Piketon being as strong as ever in recent memory and both teams undefeated, this is the time to make this game happen. With the way teams are canceling on Waverly this shouldn’t be hard. Wishful thinking I know but with 2 of the areas best passing attacks it would be a very fun game to watch. ...

Re: Week 5 Waverly at Washington Court House
Chillicothe canceled Thursday night. It makes no sense to try and find a game with less than 24 hours before kickoff. This isn’t basketball or baseball, football takes much more prep work. That takes too much common sense to figure that one out. I'm sure the game could have been played on a Saturda...

Death rate from COVID .016 Waverly’s odds of beating Chillicothe 100% Waverly’s odds of beating courthouse 100% The reality of the situation, it’s more important to only pick battles you know you can come out on top. Re: Week 5 Waverly at Washington Court House
Looks like Fayette county is on a high level of transmission maybe you should sit the week out due to covid! Also it’s a really weak argument to say we quit and you have plenty of time to find another opponent. Keep making excuses! Washington CH Schools are do not have a high rate of Covid. We are ...

Re: Week 5 Waverly at Washington Court House
Chillicothe's unceremonious, 11th-hour cancellation on Waverly was unreasonable and unnecessary. I think most, if not all of us, would agree. With WCH... have to give them a break on this. I know folks don't like to put their biases aside, here, but "we're not having school this week -- althou...

Re: Week 4 Waverly at Chillicothe
Waverly is actively telling players not to get tested, so of course they have no positive cases. It’s the same school that changed their student alcohol policy late in basketball so a player wouldn’t have to sit the actual required amount of games so would it really surprise anyone if they didn’t t...

Re: Week 4 Waverly at Chillicothe
For what its worth. Pike county is the number 1 county in the state for covid cases per 100k and top 1% in the whole country. Like only 15 counties higher than Pike per 100k in the WHOLE country. But if that was there concern originally then they would have canceled earlier in the week, BEFORE Wave...

Re: Week 4 cancellations
Chillicothe stated on their football page that they were going to take a bye week. After they realized no one was buying the bull crap. Chillicothe better not play a single game the rest of the year if a team they are playing has a single kid quarantined or positive. But they were ok with playing b...

Re: Week 4 cancellations
That is not what is being reported by media outlets. Waverly has 40 percent absent rate which lead to closure of the district. No school, no sports Please find where any media outlet says that the school has shut down sports. You won’t because it isn’t true. Waverly had a meeting after school with ...
