IMO the most important is Captain. You need a player to motivate others and do so without putting down teammates.

Wellston defeated NY 10-0 they move to 9-9. Wellston will travel to fairland on the 14th in sectional play, winner winner will play south point on the 17th at south point.

The rockets dropped one to oak hill on Tuesday night at the VA. They are scheduled to play Athens tonight

Wellston fell to Alexander 3-0 on Thursday and dropped one game to Southeastern 2-0 on Saturday to Fall to 8-7 (4-2). They have 4 big games scheduled this week. VC Monday, Oak Hill Tuesday, Fed Hock Wednesday and Athens Thursday. Of those 4 teams Wellston is 3-0 the first time against each of them. ...

The only issue with getting picked on purpose is when coaches are looking at all sate and all district stats. that goes down as caught stealing, sometimes speed on the bases might be the difference between two other wise equal players.

Wellston lost to Jackson last night. They fall to 8-5. They play Alexander Thursday night to try and re-establish a tie for 1st in the TVC- Ohio
