Re: SEOAL 2010
Good info on all- I think Mr. Wolfe has been trying to see his weaknesses as opposed to trying to win. Logan was very 1-dimensional in the scrimmage from reports of those I know. Perhaps there is more? Can't say myself. Common sense does tell me that if each starter is a Jr./Sr. this year, and didn'...

Re: Trimble at Nelsonville
Hehe^^ Whompas has a point. I'll give him that.... However, I'd say since both teams are 'run-first' that the returning RB's aren't the ones to look at. The returning LINE is. A 3 year old could run through holes if the line is good enough. Hmmm?

Re: SEOAL 2010
What Pappy said! I've seen it happen to at least one other school too! Too bad the majority of the crowd can't read/EXPERIENCE this stuff before it happens @ Logan. One positive which may help Logan not sink to the Cellar though- numbers vs. league opponent's numbers. Could save 'em in the long run....

Re: SEOAL 2010
I think this year the SEOAL will be very very tough! Logan should still be very tough Portsmouth should have a great year Jackson is back on the way up Warren should continue to be tough Galia is knocking on the door to get on track again MHS are more than likely going to be fighing it out at the b...

Re: 2010 SEOAL Previews: Marietta Tigers
Point taken, Paladin. You are knowledgeable. However, a Logan helmet should be backed by a positive outlook. Pessimistic views haven't made the Chiefs what they are. Especially in 'reloading' years like our next 3-4. Being humble creates the possibility of someone else being cocky for you! ;) Quote ...

Re: 2010 SEOAL Previews: Logan Chieftains
How long has Logan had 3rd and 4th grade flag now? Don't know how I missed that,it used to be just 5th and 6th grade. There should be more tackle teams if the interest is there every year,I would have loved to play tackle early on,we would always get in trouble for playing at our grade school when t...

Re: Derek Roback - ND
Scott Gasser of Logan, a former SEOAL MVP, was a three year starter for ND back when they knew how to play football. Logan has had a number of starters at D-I programs. Good for him and Logan but I am pretty sure this topic isn't about Logan.( I know that is hard for you to believe, but people do t...

Re: SEOAL 2010
I agree, Mty-dvls, The Pickerington North Game will tell how good/bad Logan is. They won't be a D-1 power, but return a core group of great athletes next year. The outcome of that game will show Logan's strength in comparison to last year's team, as well as give a good comparison for the rest of the...

Re: Is The Trimble School Distirict finished
Trimble is toast! True, I know of 2 players with Trimble Mothers, and even Patrick Angle's Step-mom, mother of Mason Mays was a Trimble graduate. Several also have Nelsonville roots over the past 3 years.. I have moved myself as a result of being closer to my job w/o being completely displaced. The...

Re: SEOAL 2010
For Logan to qualify for the playoffs in D-2 R-7, they need about 50% more Harbin Points than anyone else, and then play teams who have an easier time playing annual powers due to location. For Logan to make it, and especially to win one, shows the marked increase in talent in comparison. (EXPECTED ...

Re: Trimble Tomcats Softball
I haven't made a visit to Trimble for almost 20 years. I know of 1 former teacher, and a lady who succeeded as coaches-Who is the coach now? Also, do they play travel Softball in the summer there these days? My Daughter has been to 2 softball World Series, and I've watched a lot. One common variable...

Re: Head Wrestling Coach Interview
Good point-by both! The individual wrestler is going to cut weight at his own discretion in most cases. There are too many variables to give an absolute number of pounds due to size/percentage of fat etc. Somewhat of a rhetorical question until more questions follow. (Which will happen!) I have only...

Re: SEOAL 2010
There is a wide range of ideas here! Good for a discussion board The quote about Logan's Divisional average being 2.2, is that the old or new schedule? Just curious there. I-town & Hamilton gone. Also 2.2 would still probably eclipse most in SE HO. And in my, and only my opinion, the Division me...

Re: Who wins Seoal and Weight classes?
Round Robin is best for experience, validation of a true champion and for the overall record for seeding later on. Just my Humble opinion. Wish it were that way when I was in school. Soph and Junior years would have seen me in at least 1 higher spot! GRR Wish them all the best of luck. Belated, but ...

Awesome! I wasn't 85 pounds until 7th grade! Hehe.
Good luck! Glad to see you're bringin' 'em up right!
I only have girls. (boohoo) Still fun, just different stuff.
