Jackson basketball has a long way to go before it can compete in Division 2. Even with all the hype of the younger classes, they'll not compete well in the new Frontier league in basketball unless they can grow them bigger than 6' tall. Just the way it is.

Thoughts on the season this year...

Jackson's 8th Grade Football team ended their season last night with a victory over Fairland. 34-8

Jackson ended the season undefeated at 7-0.

This is the fourth season in a row that the 8th grade football team has been undefeated.

Take it to the bank, Howard will NOT be the Varsity Basketball coach at Jackson.

The boys basketball program was doomed when the school board made the decision not to go out and hire the best possible coach for the program. Now the talent at the younger ages will transfer prior to entering their freshmen year. Just wait and see what happens.

How can a program be so bad? Don't know if there has ever been a worse team in the history of the SEOAL.

I thought both of the Jackson Burg games were well officiated. I believe in the 8th grade game Jackson also had a touchdown call back late in the 3rd quarter. So both sides had a touchdown called back because of a penalty.
