Re: portsmouth coaches clinic
I was there. I think this year makes 5 in a row for me. I've always enjoyed it. I like the way it has evolved into 2 different sessions going at once-offense was on the first floor, defense on the second. This way, if you take your staff, you can seperate and share notes later.I enjoyed the Big Waln...

Re: Chillicothe History Making Day!
you notice how in the celebration in the auxillary gym after the game coach K thanked Jesus for this? thats no coincidence! God is definately good. Coach Kellough leaving ZT was definately a blessing in disguise. I told someone about a month ago that with his style of coaching and the players on th...

Re: Congrats to Chillicothe DIV II STATE CHAMPS!!!
On behalf of the football staff, WAY TO GO GUYS! You made your community proud. I have to say I've never seen a team live up to it's motto as you guys have. "Refuse to Lose" You are the very definition of a team that did not give up. SPARKY-I think Ray went to Aiken. On the Chambers and Hi...

Re: Best centers in seo
Danny Russell from Chilly made 1st team All-SE District last fall and honorable mention All-Ohio, but it is in the "specialty" area of snapping the ball where he really excels. He is ranked very high in his class in the state and even nationally as a long-snapper, and has already attended...

Re: Chillicothe 2008 football schedule
Not sure yet. I think Coach D is going to wait until he gets all the vacancies filled and then decide what is best for the team. Hopsing-I'd look for a similar offense, maybe with a few new twists here and there to fit the personnel. For the most part, the weight room is looking good. A few big disp...

COOL Clinic
The annual Offensive Line clinic will be May 16 & 17 at the Millennium Hotel In Cincy. It's THE top'notch O-line clinic in the world. It's mostly NFL guys, but I've always been able to get something out of it. They get in some college guys tooThis years speakers our Joe Wickline-Oklahoma State D...

Re: UFC FIGHTERS TO BE AT PORTSMOUTH HS OLD GYM
Im all over this.Hopefully they get some of Colemans boys down here from the HAmmer House. Wes Simms, Branden Hinkle etc... both of those guys are on UFC undercards, Simms fought at the Arnold classic against one of Agseys boys. Hinkle got beat in his last big fight (UFC59) I think by Jeff Monson. T...

If any of you want to see avery good speaker, make sure to catch Bernie Buttrey. He is very entertaining and one of thew best speaskers Ive ever seen. Just a good ole boy and he tells it like it is. He was at the Reebok clinic and did a very nice job on the D-line. I think hes talking Oline this time.

Re: Kickers and Punters in the area
The thing about Basil is, he could probably play DB as well as he kicks. He's very athletic and very aggressive. He's not afraid to make a tackle after he kicks, thats for sure.He brings a special threat to the punt and Fg teams as he poses a real threat for a fake--running or passing. Mullins is de...

Re: Local players playing semi pro ball
I would kill my players for doing something so stupid.Especially if they're on a schollie. If they are a walk-on and not receiving aide, it's hard to tell them what they can and cant do on thie time, but when you're paying their way you have some say-so.
