I graduated from Logan Elm but I have no rooting alligence to any school. I enjoy watching all of the local teams from around my area. I do like to see them succeed but that is as far as I go. I even enjoy watching good sports in general. Not sure of your age bman618--but I enjoyed playing against ...

I agree w/ the Netter comment. GREAT young man too. Doesn't say boo , and practices his butt off. He was the scout team TB all year and took a beating and never said a word.
VanVoorhis could be a good one too. needs to improve strength
I'll look into the Young thing

hilltop - But Chillicothe's enrollment did not drop below D2 until after they left the OCC. I don't think the OCC was in anyway SAD to see the Cavs leave, in fact I think it was a cause for celebration. However, I don't believe the Cavs were "kicked out" of the OCC. I remember reading the...

I agree with you beezee and also was well aware of Chilli being kicked out. I've learned the ways of the OCC since moving to Groveport and it was no suprise that Chilli was kicked out because in the OCC if you can't take 270 to get there the OCC wants no part of it. It's the same struggle that Loga...

The SEOAL doesn't need a replacement. IF anything, they need one more team to leave to get back to an even 7 teams. an EVEN 7 teams?I know I ain't the smartest cat around, but I thought 7 was an odd #. Maybe I've been teaching my 1st graders wrong all along. Gee Locos, I thought you were one of the...

poor adjustments defensively IMO. Defensive staff should've adjusted the front alingment to re-route the TE off the LOS. When You line up in a 3 man front and blitz the OLB over the TE, theres not much you can do to defend it. I thought they could've made those adjustments or if nothing else, run a ...

Army--look at you starting it already.lol You know the Logan boys will see your comment about the SVC and start the "Chilli has to recruit" thing again. No recruiting, just attractive to some kids at smaller schools. Good thing we got the transfers that we did last year.

no one else has left yet beezee. As far as colleges, I think the guys are still exploring their options. Lamont C-Are you implying that these guys are leaving for a reason?Lehew left b/c he was ready to get out and retire from teaching and coaching, period. So , no , it's not "odd". People...

Army, JK already answered your question about the twin. That family is loaded w/ athletes. There younger brother Richard played baseball in the Reds organization. He had kids that played basketball at OU(daughter-Erin) and sons (Justin and Brian) who played b-ball at Canisius(sp?), Rio Grande and Ma...

I think it depends. A lot of variables figure into it though. I've seen some very good RB's that were far from the record, but b/c of the team they were on, or the line they ran behind, deserved a lot more than one who, say , ran behind an excellent line or was on a great team etc... Another example...

Not sure he wants the reasons discussed publicly, and I honestly don't know all of them, but he's already made the move public knowledge. Probably b/c he wants to run his own style of offense and with a new, young HC, he would probably have more freedom to do so w/ total control of play calling etc....

We have one in the making for next year in Chilli, just not a definite sight yet. We have a few different options,we just have to figure out which one will work best. Once the location is determined, we will send out letters to every college in Ohio and the surrounding states.I really think it can g...

good point, regardless of peoples comments about Chilli running from the OCC w/ their tails between their legs. Truth is, they would've been kicked out this year due to being too small.

What year was it that Jackson gave game film of Ironton to an Ironton playoff opponent even though Ironton was a fellow SEOAL member at the time? Early 80s? Perhaps 1980? thats not surprising, that happens ALL the time. Especially when there are coaches on different staffs that are friends. Not say...

hilltopkid With Athens leaving they could all play and still have an open date except Ironton was one of the ones who would not play round robin. Sure, they could have, but thats not the policy. So are you saying every school wanted to do this except Ironton? Never heard that.I wish they would look ...
