What is the story regarding the Meigs 8th grade disbandment ?

I know Athen's 8th grade team has three studs at the moment. number 44, 40 and 76. All three are some ball players.

It will be interesting to see how Athens does the next couple of years with out Burrows.

This game will illustrate why high school football is so great for this area of the state.

I wish the best for Warren. Their coach is a classy guy, and as long as he can get the other athletes in the school to come out they could turn the corner quickly. I hope the kids down there buy in to what he is doing.

What are some other of the big match ups around the area. I.E. ( Gallia, Nelsonville, Warren, Athens, etc)

Logans 7th grade won tonight @ Gallia 14-0 and the 8th grade won 14-6. I know the eighth grade recovered five turnovers. Two ints and three big hit fumbles.

I must say you forgot a team that should be playing in week 11 off of Zville schedule. That should be the Logan Chieftains. After Friday night I would have to include them on the list. That passing game Friday was deadly!

What was Jackson's record last year for the middle school team? I am talking about the current 8th graders.
