Bet that the Blue and White will emerge victorious in this one.

Re: Best Players in Southeast Ohio?
Honestly, I have seen no great players this year. That is not to say there aren't any. Just that I personally have not seen them. The two best I have seen are Luke Brown from Northwest and Zach Johnson from Chillicothe. Both of them however are far from great. Johnson is pretty good and Brown is dec...

Re: HARDEST HITS
One of the hardest hits I have ever seen AT ANY LEVEL was in 2003 when Jr. DB Dominic Jones of Brookhaven hit Quentin Upshaw of Chillicothe following an interception thrown by Chillicothe. Totally blindsided him and forced him to the hospital unable to even remember his own name or speak clearly. He...

Re: Ohio Schools Vote 'No' On Playoff Reform
This is great news. Something does need to be done but this was a terribly misguided proposal. Why can't there just be a simple multiplier for private schools? Why penalize schools for success?

Re: OHSAA releases enrollment numbers
There are more divisions in football because it takes more kids to have a football team. Therefore, enrollment is more indicative of potential to succeed. For example, A school with an enrollment of 340 against a team with an enrollment of 240: In football if 1 in 5 boys play football that is 68 kid...

Re: Logan To The OCC
It would be a terrible decision for Logan to apply for the OCC. They would get dominated in every sport. Mark it down. Of course they would have some years in some sports but by in large they would get dominated. Furthermore, the OCC would NEVER take them so it is a moot point. Any new schools in th...

Re: Class of 2012 prospects
I would not say that getting letters even remotely resembles getting recruited. Neither does an unnoficial vist. An officila visit however, is certainly being recruited. Scholarship offer or not. There were at least 6 or 7 players at OSU's spring game today that do not have offers. Probably 4 or 5 o...

Re: SVC Expansion - Thoughts/Debate
The SVC is fine as is. The ONLY school that would ever make sense would be Waverly and they are perfectly fine where they are. Chillicothe will NEVER be in the SVC. well...not in our lifetimes anyway. Chillicothe has never played against a single SVC school in football. Do you really think they woul...

Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio Final Editio
Let me give it a shot at my early contenders for top 8 next season. Instead of ranking them 1 through 8 however I will put them in tiers of how I think they could shake out. Too hard to call to list all 8 in order. Tier 1: Peake - so much coming back from a team that really impressed me last year. K...

Re: Chillicothe Cavaliers 2011-2012 Season
Malik London and Zach Johnson are big time players. The Cavs will have more "weaknesses" than I remember them having since Kellough became the coach. That is not to say that they will be the worst team in the Kellough era. Just meaning that as of now(and hopefully there will be some pleasa...

Re: SVC Expansion - Thoughts/Debate
Regardless of what you feel about the competition level, the SVC is probably the most stable league in SEO. Why mess with it? Other than Westfall and Piketon, all schools are from Ross County. Ross is probably the only county that can support an entire league with just local schools and that is prob...

Congratulations to the Trojans. You represented the City of Portsmouth, the SEOAL, and Southeastern Ohio well. Great season that I'm sure will be remembered by all involved for the rest of their lives. Again, Congratulations.

Re: Chillicothe vs. John Glenn...D2 Regional Semifinal
Haegan could play at a MAC school. Not OU because their backcourt IS loaded regardless of their record. They just have no frountcourt to speak of. Congrats to the Muskies. Good luck next round. I think Hartley should win this game easily and would have said the same had the Cavs won but good luck no...

Something is wrong here! Chillicothe plays tomorrow night in the regional Semis and we have 59 posts! Wheelersburg P-town play this weekend and they have over 130! Lets get this thread going Cavs and JG(mascot? sorry). What do we need to do? Light a fire in you guys to get this thread going? Trash ...

Re: OHSAA adopting (?) at a "Competitive Balance Proposal"
Yes, they did. And that years I believe they would have probably won state regardless of division as that was a truly special team. My concern is what happens when they are a good but not great 15-5 or 14-6. In their appropriate division and with the schedule they play I would still expect them to a...

Re: Best Defender in the area?
I think you have to seperate big men and guards as the way they effect the action through defense is totally different. With that said I think the best big man defensively is Malik London of Chillicothe. He is 6'8'' with a large wingspan, athletic, and has some of the best defensive timing I have se...
