In Beverly, Trail looked like a pretty dangerous team to me. I fully expect a tough game for our mighty Cadets.

It was a lot of fun to watch. Fort Frye showed they can handle the ball under pressure, but need some more work shooting at that tempo.

The game did feature some good defense, but overall I thought it just showed that both of these teams don't get enough competition from their conferences. Neither team was particularly consistent at executing its offense. Good game to help both teams improve

It's nice to see Warren's program doing so well and reaching their potential. IMO, The Warriors are the new measuring stick in Washington County.

People come out for top girls games. I'll be surprised if the gym isn't full.

I usually avoid these crowded games, but am looking forward to this one.

Frontier seems to be a defensive minded team that will try to make the Lady Cadets work for every bit of space and doesn't mind making their opponent earn the win at the foul line. I don't think they'll be able to keep up with Fort Frye.

It's nice to have some drama in the league this year. It gets boring having Fort Frye win the PVC year in and year out. After awhile, Cadet fans get cranky because wins don't have enough style points.

Playing in a venue like the convo can be quite unnerving for young kids, Oak Hill has played there every year either due to the Alex tournament or the post-season tournament for a long time, so the Lady Oaks are accustomed to playing there. Trail seems like they're going to be good this year. They have a couple of good guards and some real solid inside game. Their new coach made some good adjustments, but he was bucking a lot of experience on the other sideline. Fort Frye looks like they might be a really good team this year.

Fort Frye isn't invincible, but they're going to be very good this year. They might be even better than that, but time will tell.
