Just wanted to point out that Caldwell's non-league includes two games against St. Johns, one against Newcomerstown, one against Morgan, one against wood county, and another with Barnesville. All those teams are awful except Barnesville. At worst they win five of those, probably will get Barnesville...

Good luck Caldwell. Big league game, 2 losses in league play would really put Trail behind in the league race early. Should be a good one.

Great game from the sounds of it, tied through three quarters. Clint says Beallsville is a very nice team, sounds like Caldwell wore down only playing five or six guys and made some crucial mistakes. Soph guard John Wiechman led the way with 26 points for the skins.

Thinking about heading up if my brother will put me on the pass list haha. He said Beallsville was a very good team, I know game was tied at end of three and they wore down. Interested to see what happens tonight. Not playing many kids and playing back to back is always tough.

Just curious....who played the guard spots for Central a year ago? I thought Baker was a returning starter. They start Ring, Baker, Nixon, Kinchen, and Wise. They also get a lot of minutes out of Lafferre and Ramage off the bench based on last weeks performance. Nice size and very athletic as a unit...

I know my brother and his staff went to scout. All he told me was that Shenandoah won by 3 and almost gave it away at the end. I will call him on his lunch break and try to get more details out of him haha.

Not that it mattered anyhow. Belpre has a former fort coach as it's top assistant, and coach Liedtke has been @ Fort running the same system for 30 years, he has been scouted. His teams simply do what they do well and force you to stop it. As for this game, Smith and Lang aren't big kids in comparis...

Trail returned the most in the PVC this year, this will be a heck of a game, possibly the two best teams in the PVC.

My brother expects Beallsville to be one of the best teams they play this year. He said they have size and nice guard play with a quality shooter. I know they put it on Bridgeport the other night. I expect this to be a very tight game. Hopefully the Redskins pull it out on their home floor.

New Lex has a scrappy, athletic bunch this year. They have some nice athletes, play 8 kids and all but one of them played a major role last year. Nelsonville will have their hands full, should be a good game if I had to guess.

Curious as to how Maysville was? They are in our league and lost everything from last year, knew they'd be young and wouldn't have much size. Did anyone stand out? Fort should have a great year in the P.V.C. this winter

Nixon is a nice soph, as is Lang. Spy, Lang has never and will never dominate any AAU game or tournament, that is a different brand and different level. Interesting opener.....was a very close game last year in Caldwell, skins' are much better, not sure Central is. I will take Caldwell in a tight one factoring in the family bias haha.

Any team with four very skilled guards is difficult to defend, games will be about match ups. Fort is the favorite until someone else takes it from them. Doesn't matter who says what on here.
