Are implying that a third grader transferred from Northwest to Valley because of the athletic programs?

Re: Summer League at West Portsmouth???
I have a group of current 6th graders who will be in the 7th in the Fall. What group would they play in for the summer league, 6th grade or 7th/ 8th grade?

Re: Northwest HS Girls Soccer Team
Great news for the Northwest soccer community. Hopefully a few more schools in the SOC will follow (Wheelersburg, South Webster & Valley) and get Girls Soccer recognized as an official SOC sport, so Northwest can start competing for SOC titles. With the amount of talent at Northwest I would expe...

Northwest 2012
Just curious as to Northwest's Junior high record this year. Caught the score last night against East and I believe it was 36-0 NW. I've heard good things about them. Are they the SOC favorite this year?

Re: Northwest Football 2012
Even before open enrollment Northwest couldnt compete. It has nothing to do with being able to keep the kids in the school distract. If Northwest truely wants to compete (which I'm not sure they do) they need to start at the top. Vote in a new school board that doesn't believe in playing only their...

Re: Northwest Football 2012
Realistically, they should win the first five non-conference games and then should get a win over either Minford or Waverly, for a 6-4 record. Based on what? They won't be within 3 scores of anyone in the league. Just like everyone elses on here, it's based on opinion. If Northwest could put a fenc...

Northwest Football 2012
Just looking at the 2012 Northwest varsity football schedule and it looks as though a 5-5 and possibly a 6-4 season this year.

Re: Lucasville Valley Youth Soccer Tournaments
Northwest defeated Minford 4-1. Northwest defeated South Webster 2-1 forcing another game since it was the Jeeps first loss. South Webster wins the championship 2-0. Congratulations to the Jeeps! Just a word about Northwest........if I am not mistaken the Mohawks had to play five games today includ...

Re: Week 10: Northwest vs. Waverly
I do agree with the SOC 1 idea, but I don't think it's fair to generalize the athletes @ Northwest.! I understand what you're saying, but what does being outscored 174-14 (most teams JV in at the half) in SOC 2 play do for the kids? That's what you get when you don't have support/ buy in from the s...

Re: Week 10: Northwest vs. Waverly
Northwest DOES NOT have the athletes to compete at the SOC II level, period! I dont care who is coaching there. The league needs to let them go down to SOC I and allow the program to grow and at least give the kids a chance to compete each week. Even at that they couldnt win that league every year....
