Northwest DOES NOT have the athletes to compete at the SOC II level, period! I dont care who is coaching there. The league needs to let them go down to SOC I and allow the program to grow and at least give the kids a chance to compete each week. Even at that they couldnt win that league every year....

Looking for a few more teams for the Oct. 23rd tournament, North Adams dropped out along with Valley & South Webster. Again, it's U12 girls.

Went to watch the Ironton - Jackson football game and all I can say is that #88 is one the best blocking and pass catching tight ends that I've seen in a while.

The date has been changed to Sunday Oct. 23rd. We have Minford, Wheelersburg, Northwest, West Union, North Adams/ Peebles, possibly Valley & South Webster.

Is the tournament open to teams outside of the county?

In some other sports they take players off of the playing field if the score gets out of hand. So for example, you could play 11 on 10 if you go up by say 35. You know since we're all about being PC nowadays and everybody has to be a winner.

I don't particularly like it when a team keeps pouring it on with long passes and leaving all starters in but on the flip side many players stats are looked at and if your coach doesn't run scores up and another coach does the better player may not have the better stats.
