1/2 of the TVC ohio will have turf, would like to see a supporters for Meigs and Vinton County try to get funds to put turf in their stadiums.

NY had 3 wrestlers win loser bracket matches this evening, McLaughlin, Leitwein, and Coon won, Hook and Mays had their excellent seasons come to an end tonight.

Just Remember state is a whole different ball game. Many of these wrestlers can still place, and sometimes that is just as good as winning. Lets let the next 2 days play out.

I had heard that ALL positions were posted and after they were closed there were NO positions to be open outside.

From what I have been told, there are currently NO athletic jobs open right now in the district.

One of the schools could have a policy that if school is cancelled that day, they have no after school activities including sports.

From my information, he and any coach at NY has to reeapply for jobs from the previous year. We may not know anything until the spring when all of the jobs are posted.

I believe Coach Meade has a daughter who is very good at basketball and probably wants to be a parent want watch her play throughout high schol. I believe it will be someone from the outside who will take over the program.

today was their last day of school until Jan. I dont think any decison will be made or announced until then at the earliest. Let the situation play out, dont jump the gun too early.

If consolidation happens, ALL of the schools that get the new students will probably change, NY will no longer be NY, Fort Frye will no long just be fort frye, Warren and Belpre will be a new school with new nicknames and new colors, etc. I just hope he does not go through with it, but he is hell be...

I know there are alot of questions that need to be answered, but what Ive read about the new governor and wanting to save money, he will try to have less schools to make sure the bigger schools have money for education.

I think the TVC will be smaller in 2014, and not for school leaving to go other places. I think the governor will try to consolidate schools especially down here and we will lose some that way. Schools like Trimble, Federal Hocking, Belpre, and Waterford could be brought together will schools close ...

another thing the TVC needs to think about that far in the future is if Gov Elect Kasich desides to push for consolidation to save money. You could possibly lose 3-5 current TVC Hocking schools.

The SOC is too small for Gallia and Jackson. Ironton will stay independent. I do not see the TVC inviting Warren. I think the SEOAL will be around, even if it is 4 schools, Warren, Portsmouth, Jackson, and Gallia.

I think the TVC needs to keep the Ohio or whatever division they are in competative for them. Hopefully Alex, Wellston, and Athens stay good or in the future they could listen to other offers.

I know everyone is happy where they are right now, I was just wondering what would happen if the MSL approached some of these schools. My question is what schools would actually think about it, and what schools would turn it down right away.
