The problem is talent. No coach can win without talent, and Wellston has had a dry spell of no "true" basketball players for the last 5 or 6 years.

Looks like the National Hoops Classic had 8 teams listed above from Ohio in their tournament this year. Not bad, as well as the top notch out-of-state teams.

highspeed, wellston's last tvc title was in 2002-2003 season i believe, and that is when they lost to southeastern in the district semi-final game.

Why would you want to get someone in trouble for organizing one of the best tournaments in Ohio, and especially in the area. Are you just jealous because Jackson doesn't hold a tournament of this caliber?

I never said they pound these so called great teams in my last post, and this post isnt about titles, its simply about toughest schedule.

Wellston has played some of the best schools in Ohio and the rest of the country over the years so I don't see how anyone else can compete.

Yeah, teams like ASVSM, Oak Hill Academy, North College Hill, Lima Senior, Lexington Catholic, St. Albans, etc. make Wellston's schedule REALLY week. Come on people, Wellston does not have the weakest schedule ANNUALLY!!
