With ironton corners playing 6-10 yrds off the recievers they will get beat most of the time on the pass burg them all nite in the flat. need too play tighter on the line. other than that go tigers.

I haven't seen the burg this year, but as allways they will be tough. Seen ironton play, and barring all the early season mistakes the look pretty tough, so i'm looking for a dog fight friday nite. can't wait! go tigers.

i agree with blue devil, west seemed too move the ball better than Ironton. with the running ironton showed today they will have to pass more often. but all in all they showed that they both can have a good team this year. its still too early too guage either team on what they will develop into.

I think coal grove would be a better fit than oak hill, and i'm not putting oak hill down. I just think year in and year out the grove is a better team. jmo.

manchester was just a few clicks from being a good team last year, i think they will be better this year.

I graduated in 62 from rockhill, and from that time on I would have to say if all the games were tallied up, I would have too say it would have to be at least 2-1 in coal groves favor. The grove just seems too have rockhills number. jmo.

Not many schools want too play the smaller schools, due to the point system, its sad that these small schools can't get schools to play locally, but if they don't have winning records it hurts the schools when they try too schedule games with the bigger schools.

the turning point of this game, was when manchester had them first and goal at the five, and green held on a fourth and less than a yard for a touchdown. green played good defence.

to burg standards they were down last year, they played with guts and determination, and we know where it took them. don't count burg out, i think they will come out and win it all this year, jmo. i'm not a burg fan, just know how they play when they are the underdog.

A lot of the kids in small schools like green, nd, and east football teams, make up the basketball and baseball teams. I think it would hurt other sports in these schools, more than in large schools where there are more kids. imo.
