I saw them play Ironton at the Convo and it wasn't very pretty for each team. At least I think it was Burg VS Ironton.

Left at half time because I couldn't watch it.

Fairland ate up teams at the Gallipolis tournament this year.

These teams ought to schedule playing themselves 4 or 5 times next yr so they can all get some wins.

Gallia Academy does not have a new field and I would be willing to bet they will not have a new field for years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And NO Trojan Dave did not play !!!!!! Maybe at Wilson or McKinley occasionally on the playground.

Floyd di you go to the games Saturday at The Convo? I looked for ya but couldn't find anyone with the little napkin writing down important stuff.

I'm glad they played a better second half because I had to leave at half time because I couldn't stand to watch it. S/E Ohio basketball is way down and I doubt it if anybody will advance out of Athens.

I have to say Saturdays last two games were terrible. I am a Trojan fan and had to leave at half time because I couldn't watch it. The Ironton vs. Burg game was terrible to sit thru. I am glad I didn't have to pay to get in or I would have asked for my money back! Basketball in S/E Ohio is way down.

The tradition of one of the best basketball programs in the history of the state will prevail. I'll take the Trojans in a close one 60-55. Good luck to both teams, to bad they couldn't have been opposite half's of the district as both would have beaten either Wheelersburg or Ironton.
