I would have to agree that with Cayton now at South Webster the league is much more balanced. Wheelersburg, Webster, Minford should all be tough. Valley has some good talent, but I'm not sure who they have other than Merritt and Arbaugh (sp?). Waverly will have some talent as well, but not sure how ...

Also, it doesn't have much of an effect on the local girls, because almost every girl gets playing time. But I can see in a few years how it might affect it, with all of the TRANSFERS coming in WILLINGLY without any bribery. I'm not talking about playing time for the local girls that are a part of ...

oak hill71, nowhere in my post did I suggest anything about recuiting. I simply asked the question if the "transfers" over the years had an effect on the "local" girls participating at the high school level. But thanks for admitting to the fact that it happens at every school Not...

If I remember right with Marshall originally from Burg and Gleim from Minford, that leaves only 5 girls in the upper 3 grades from Oak Hill. Add that to the 3 (?) in the freshman class and that's a total of 8 in the entire school. What have the Jr. High and Pee Wee levels been like over the past few...

It appears Minford doesn't have a chance in this one. :) I'll go with Waverly.

From what I understand this is true. Kara provided Minford with many exciting moments over the past few years and will surely be missed. We know it is a big loss for the team, but do we really know how much effect it will have on their overall performance. Who will take over the point guard position...
