Re: Views on The Oak Hill Oaks

I would not say it was an easy schedule. The Oaks defeated the Pirates (SOC II Champs). It has not been that long ago (2005?) that Lucasville Valley came out as SOC I champs and went to the Region 19 championship game against Centerburg. After 2 playoff wins that argument is gone. Good luck Oaks!

Re: Oak Hill VS Minford The Aftermath

I was pulling for the Falcons and was glad I made it to the game. I would have paid double the admission price. It was a great atmosphere, big hits, great plays and gut checks. Now, I just hope that the Oaks have enough in the tank for the Freddies! Good Luck Oak Hill!!! :)

Re: Most exciting High School game you have ever watched?

I remember a cold night in Hillsboro where the region 12 championship game was played in 2000. The star-studded Dayton C-J Eagles jumped out to a 17-6 first quarter lead on the Portsmouth Trojans. I was thinking, Well this was a good season for the Trojans, but then "POW" a 25 point second...

Re: WK 10 Oak Hill @ Green

This could be a "pad the stats" game for the Oaks. There is no playoff implications, but the Oaks will still take care of business. I watched the Cats @ Notre Dame, they played hard and with heart from a class program, but they just don't have the horses to hang with Oak Hill. Oak Hill 45 ...

Re: WK 10 South Gallia @ Symmes Valley

Rusty will have his boys ready to play even if they are depleted with injuries. The Vikings will finish on a high note, which will propel them for next year. Love their hard nose play!

South Gallia 12
Symmes Valley 27

Re: WK 10 Bethel-Tate @ Manchester

I hope they do not give up football, with an upstart program, they will take their lumps. I still like the heart of this team for starting something new and sticking with it. I watched them @ Notre Dame and it was good see them leave it on the field despite the scoreboard. :)

Re: Game of Week #3 West vs. #2 Wheelersburg SOC Championship

No matter the outcome, if both teams are as good as they are blown up to be on this thread, then they will meet again in the playoffs for another dandy.
As for this round, I have to give the edge to the WEST Side:

Wheelersburg 21
West 33

And truly would love to see a playoff matchup (region 19)
