Conferences affiliated with the game could be: SEOAL, TVC, OVC, SOC, SVC and Independents. We could call it the South Eastern Ohio North/South All Star Game. North Teams: Logan, Marietta, Athens, Chillicothe, Alexander, Warren, etc. South Teams: Jackson, Ironton, Portsmouth, South Gallia, Gallia Aca...

I would love to see a SE Ohio All Star game. You could find a date to play the game on that wouldn't conflict with other sports. Many all star games are played in June which prevents the potential conflicts. The players could be selected by the coaches. The location could be at somewhere really nice...

Re: How to block the inside veer versus a traditonal 5-2 def
I have seen people block it two different ways: 1. Double team the nose with the FSG and chip off to BSLB and have FST inside release to block the FSLB 2. Base block with FSG on FSLB and inside release with FST to second level. Thoughts on which one is better? I would go with the first scheme you m...

ji81grad, The examples you gave of Snider's work would certainly lead one to believe that his work left a lot to be desired. However, most decisions that are made within a school system are not the direct result of one person's opinion. Again, if anyone thinks that Snider's departure and the hiring ...

I'm not sure why people would be happy with losing a person who graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy. I know Jackson athletics have been in what some would call a state of turmoil throughout Snyder's tenure at Jackson, but I doubt that the problems have been a result of Snyder's work. I do not know...

Like gahs said, the SEOA L isn't going anywhere. Jackson, Logan and Gallia Academy are the only schools who have remained in the league since it's creation. I don't see any of those three schools going anywhere any time soon. Any realistic ideas for the SEOAL should start with the above mentioned te...

Actually Tom you have the bullying all wrong. The BULLY is Logan. Logan bullies the league. It does not matter what team you support. Unless you are just here to cause trouble. Logan bullies SEO. 2old, You know that I couldn't care less if you continue to antagonize everyone on here until you are b...

ZV, Excuse me for not having everything that has been said about ZVille athletics during the past couple of years documented. Anyone who hasn't been living under a rock knows that there has been a lot of talk, chatter, discussion, or whatever else you want to call it, about the possibility of ZVille...

10mike I agree it should go back to one division only lets get rid of Ironton and Portsmouth. They are long trips for the Washington County teams and really are not that competive in many sports. I really don't know if you are affiliated with Marietta or Warren, either way though, I didn't mean to ...

The SEOAL should go back to one division and this is what it should look like. Jackson Portsmouth Ironton Gallia Academy Chillicothe Logan Zanesville doesn't want to be in the SEOAL anyway, so lets say goodbye. Washington county is quite the haul for any of the SEOAL teams. So lets say goodbye to Wa...
