The same lady was tossed 2 weeks ago at Waverly.WonderNova wrote: Wed Jan 29, 2025 9:44 am There was a Waverly fan/parent ejected last night at Eastern Brown vs Waverly. I had not thought about it, but I cannot remember the last time I have seen this happen. Whatever the lady said the ref was VERY quick on the toss.

Re: Fan Behavior At Games…Action Needs Taken
The fans would be punishing the kids, not the officials or administration. The out of control, belligerent fans never realize that they serve no function in the event of a basketball game. You need players, coaches, officials, a clock keeper and a book keeper to make the game happen. You do not need...

Gallia Academy 0 Hillsboro 1 8 innings Coach Corvin retired Huh? Corvin retired? Yes, coach Corvin has stepped away from the Gallia Academy Baseball Program. He has put in a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into that program. Congratulations on a great run. Tonight's game was a tough one. Two very go...

Yikes. I didn't expect this rough of a first half of the season for Ironton. It seems like the entire school system is in disarray, and is affecting everybody.

The SOC I has been surprisingly stronger than what people anticipated. Eastern is no surprise, and I think any of the other teams could beat each other on any given night. There has been some really tight games thus far.

Anybody have a picture of the old South Gallia gym? I always thought that was a neat place, very dim lighting and a hard floor, but definitely a neat gym.

Great stuff!! I was just thinking that the Ironton gym reminded me of Grant at Portsmouth. How much longer until Saint Joe is in their new gym?

Pictures of "Old Gyms"
I love gyms with tradition, history and character to them. I felt this would be a neat thread if posters could post pictures of some of the "old gyms" of Southeast Ohio. I know we talk about them from time to time, but was curious to see any photos of these gyms or maybe some game photos f...

The starting point guard was out for Clay also. This was a game that Clay had in hand most of the night. Clay looked liked the better team tonight and at times it looked like Clay was going to run away with the game. Then as many young teams do, they would make silly mistakes and let New Boston sta...

Re: Western vs East District Final
Tartanblue, people do not have a problem with East's student section-or even the dads-it's the crowd of women that are standing, screaming, and berating the refs the entire game. If you do not think that they are out of control then I don't know what to tell you. Yes, every school has crazy fans. Bu...

So. Webster over Paint Valley by 20+ Western over New Boston by about 15 Kudos to the crew who worked the Western/New Boston game. The fans and coaches for New Boston were out of control. The officials (who were a very good crew IMO) were very patient all night, and didn't T New Boston's coach up u...
